Thanks everyone. I know we’ll probably see a couple of you soon at the big shindig in EauClaire.

I’m kind of frightened by how quickly we found this hundred, though. No wonder I’m not seeing many new birds!

Well, maybe it’s cause I was born in Minnesota or something, but I *like* most puzzle caches! I’ll have to check some of these out for possible future caching trips!

Trekkin’ does NOT like puzzles, but let it also be said I don’t like park and grabs! Maybe this is why we’ve managed to stay married 27 years—if we make it to Thursday, that is!

Ooh, congrats on the fast forward! And congratulations to Jay Mills, who has now finished the game.

I have SO far to go. Can put one in jail later this afternoon and then chase another, so that will get me to ten. Hopefully one of the caches we’re hunting today will get us 11.

We’re hoping to do the whole series, just make a day of it. Did you park somewhere on the Winona end or closer to Stockton? Wasn’t sure where to start this one.

Looks like tomorrow we’re heading down “Vestby” way. We are one short of 200 and there just isn’t much close to run and quick grab it. Too bad we whiffed on one in DePere yesterday or we’d have been there! Still lots of caches within 50 miles to find, but now we’re having to plan a bit better to maximze the gas costs.

I’m with you, zuma, they never used to bother me any more than any other bug, but this year has been NASTY! I’ve been crawling in the woods most of my adult life chasing birds or whatever, and I never found more than a tick or two at most. This year, it is NOTHING to find 10 or more of the woodies and at least 2 deer ticks.

Trekkin’ is still not up to par and feels pretty sure that the next lyme titer will be positive. We just can’t do any caches that have any challenge as far as terrain, because a little climb is making every joint scream in pain (Trekkin was a marathoner, so it’s not like he’s outta shape). I wanted to do the Plowline series in Winona but he’s not up to it.

Oh man, my first bad vehicle choice hit me with a doozy of a penalty–9 hours! Oh well, I guess at least I have this minivan out of the way now!

The Troubled Waters one near Eau Claire is a micro.

We were in DePere yesterday for a graduation, and had grand plans of getting three of the outlaws. However, Trekkin’ was still out of sorts, so we got a late start, and then we just tagged along with Timberline Echoes instead, leaving the party just long enough to be not too rude! And then I see that my in-laws went and did Safe at Second on their way home! Ack! I’ll have to use the ones closer by here to get most of the bad guys, then hope that the last couple location requirements can be filled with some of the many caches I’ve done lately.

                  I hope.

Timberline Echoes is planning to join us in visiting this one on Saturday. We have a graduation party to attend up that way, and figured no one would notice if all four of us disappear for a couple hours!

I cannot even believe the coords on this one, can’t wait to experience it first hand! Congratulations!

I’m thinking those symbols are some of the locations, but who knows? I haven’t figured those codes out yet.

Lostby, we may be right behind you on the “under the wire” finish, too. We’d hoped to go to Winona tonight, where we’ve done no caching at all and there is one that could work for two of them (giving me a little wiggle room), but Trekkin’ is too whipped and the weather’s not nice, anyway. Hopefully we can get a few of those Green Bay area ones when we go to this graduation party on Saturday.

Five of your outlaws rounded up today, djwini? That’s awesome! We’re kind of stuck at 8 arrests for now. Oh well, it is fun to try and puzzle all this stuff out.

I just put it out there as another way to maybe meet a few cachers. Hopefully I can!

Not Milwaukee, but there’s one in the Eau Claire area called Bridge Over Troubled Waters that would work. There are LOTS of caches with that title, I’ve discovered!

Birdie, It can also be a cache with cars or vehicle toys can’t it? And the second option is usually much easier.

It can, but I’ve done all those around here already. I’ll have to check out this one in DePere, because if Trekkin’ recovers from whatever he has, we’ll be up there for a graduation party. We’ve already scoped out a couple others to round up that way, along with checking out this 666 cache! 😉

The cache needs to be “Hot Wheels” themed, preferably with Hot Wheels in the cache name. One where kids can trade little cars. There is actually one over near Berlin or West Bend or someplace like that, as well as the one on Trout Lake near Tomahawk, but that’s it!

We need one over near, say, LaCrosse or Eau Claire or some place in between! 😉 I know there are at least two other LaCrosse area cachers playing this game.

Cool cache run! We did a couple of those near Oshkosh when we were traveling up there last fall. When you consider the distance involved in doing them all, it IS quite the accomplishment. Congratulations!
