That’s a gorgeous view! Glad to hear you’re getting all settled in to your own place.
I’ve been out birding the past two days. Some ducks are starting to come through and I saw my first Red Winged Blackbirds this afternoon.
Almost all the time. A walk in the woods with family would be an awesome milestone for us. Congratulations!
No caching stories from us, but I am starting a blog to chronicle our Kickapoo Valley Hiking Challenge. I also made a batch of fudge and repaired the second of the two cellular shades with a busted string. I almost feel like Supergirl!
Looks like one Junco won’t be returning north. We caught a juvenile Cooper’s Hawk lunching under our trees. I think I might have captured a few nice photos, too.
We did 6 of the 60 trail segments on the challenge sheet. Although the trails were either sloppy, icy or sometimes bare, it was a great way to spend the better part of the day.
Well, we decided to head to the Kickapoo Reserve and begin hiking their Trail Challenge. Hike all 60 miles of the trails in 2016. There’s a cache at a caching friend’s home to pick up along the way. Should make for a nice day! Sloppy, probably!
Off season is our favorite time to visit Door. We haven’t made a trip there this year, but usually we do go in the winter. Have fun!
Sounds like the makings of an EarthCache there!
Maybe another :ftp:

I agree with the closed up house, pets or not. Plus the heating system stirs up stuff that was just sitting quietly. Outside always helps me.
I, on the other hand, have not heard of this delicacy. You must share! 😉
SL, Embrace change! It might be good. It won’t be your usual Mint Chip, but who knows? That extra chocolate might be the bomb!
I went over the river. I actually delayed a bit longer, then headed out, thinking….I’ll just go to my parents. Then it was nice! So I did do a multi park cache that took a few hours in the suburb to the east, avoiding nasty rush hour traffic. Now we’re getting ready for supper. I may or may not do more caching. I just….didn’t want to when it came down to it.
