On February 20, there will be an Almost Full Moon snowshoe hike at the Trempealeau Wildlife Refuge, hot cocoa afterward. If the weather is nice, I think we’ll be going. No GPS needed.
In honor of the upcoming LCG event we can’t attend, I did SandyLanders little snowman on the beach puzzle…anonymously. My miserable time should not be shared…but I *did* complete it, so that’s what counts for me!
On the bright side, I’ve about a half inch left of actual knitting to finish my sweater. Once the knitting part is done, it’s a simple matter of weaving in loose yarn strands and seaming the rest. Hopefully by this weekend, I’ll be wearing a sweater I actually knit for myself!
Once again, On Demand is not working.
Once again, someone else’s mail came to our house. Trekkin’ has counted nine times since December when he didn’t receive the hometown paper to which he subscribes. Don’t people make an effort to get these things back to the rightful recipient anymore? We wonder what other mail is sitting in someone else’s trash that should have come to us.
The world is…..inept! *eye roll*
MY LIFE IS NOW COMPLETE! I completed the daily puzzle on jigzone faster than the average time by 45 seconds!!!!!!! I am never, ever, EVER faster than the average time….ever. Until today.
Dang, step out for just a couple minutes and look what happens!
Gee, it took two days to get from one :ftp: to the next. We’re all falling down on the job here!
look for the LCG Event to be in Appleton March 12th from 11:30 until 3. Will be a pitch in!
Grand-daughter’s dance program that same day wins for us. Have fun!
We have an overnight princess, I mean, grandchild, in the tub right now. School night, so I’m really trying to speed this process.
It seems like the WGA in general is frozen. Must be this weather! 😉
That was a fun one. I don’t sign in when I do those, cause who needs yet another place for others to “do better?” I do those for fun! Thanks for a fun one!
My sweater is beginning to actually look like a sweater. One more shoulder seam and then it’ll be time to knit the turtleneck. This is not a little sweater like the one I brought to the Maker event, but one I can wear!
I read that microsoft is adding Windows 10 as an automatic upgrade. The article I read shared how to turn that stuff off so you don’t get it, and I did that. A friend had done the Windows 10 install and posted a stern warning to NOT do it. They had a really long drawn out process to try and get his computer back to what it was.
I was at a zoo today, too, but the Como Park Zoo in St. Paul. They have twin Emperor Tamarin Monkeys that were just born two weeks ago. That was fun to see, but difficult to photograph. We limited our explorations to the conservatory and the primate house today. I’ve been going to that zoo since I could walk (and have some photos to prove it!) and it’s always fun to go back and see how they’ve changed it up. I gave my grand daughter a camera and she really went to town taking photos of the plants in the conservatory. Did a fairly decent, if excessive, job on most.
Did the Ice Castle. Saw Elsa and Anna. Got out of there before the crowds moved in. Visited my parents and had pizza. Now my son and I are enduring two overtired kids in a Red Roof Inn room. Tomorrow we’ll check out the conservatory at Como Park.
