1921 Handley-Knight, 54hp. Manufactured in Kalamazoo, MI
I stumbled on this recently, and found it rather interesting.@-cheeto- wrote:
Interested to find out what other caches think about replacing a cache container and then counting it as a find.
We saw this when we were new to the game and it made me cringe then. I guess, if you can live with it then it’s fine. But, I would have to have a go ahead from the cache owner before I would do it, and I would need some measure of certainty that the original cache was indeed gone. We have seen caches logged DNF 2 and 4 x, then replaced only to have someone come up with the original.
You can find such BBQ’s fired up at Lambeau any game day. Turkey on the Weber for Thanksgiving; 😀 Ham on the Weber for Christmas; 😀 and Brisket on the Weber for New Years. 😀 That’s standard fair here in Wisconsin. 😀

Well, I am a Medical Technologist by profession but am currently switching hats and moving to the Information Technologies side of things. So, after sitting in front of a computer all day, what do I do when I get home???
Sit in front of the computer, of course. 😀
Been there, done that
Today, I [tb] am a quasi-social worker and sit in a cube in front of a computer all day.I really envy Trudy, she is retired.
I guess we are all guilty of using the word cache when we mean geocache. But that aside, We are planning on taking our time (10-12 days) on the way there (LA) and making time (4 days) on the way back. Harley’s or a convertible sound great, but they would be way over our budget; we will have to settle for rolling back the sun roof and rolling down the windows.
We have taken a peek at some of the geocaches along the route and agree with Marc. The descriptions of geocaches in Illinois don’t seem as inviting as those of Arizona. We shall see.
Any other comments?.. we have plenty of time (September or October).
