It’s just a matter of timing: http://img.ffffound.com/static-data/assets/6/0e67d137cbdf204d36eae967e7176da0ea561aee_m.jpg
Trudy & I made a trek into an Illinois preserve that seemed strangely familiar. We were able to walk right up to the cache and it didn’t really click until we spotted our log in the book about a month earlier. Don’t feel bad, Donna, there are others among us who are not admitting their repeat trips.
uhmm, which Home Depot was that? 😳

And I as well. If you had met Maren, you would know that this was not an insult to any who frequent these boards.
You might try contacting the cachmeister, many Europeans are required to study English in grammar school. Our daughter’s AFS student from Germany spoke better English than some of the people posting here. 🙄
To try to put it in perspective:
http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/00043101.htm
During 1986-1995, a total of 670 cases of blastomycosis were reported to DOH, representing a statewide [Wisconsin] mean annual incidence rate of 1.4 cases per 100,000 persons.http://www.cdc.gov/tb/surv/surv2006/pdf/table41.pdf
In 2004 there were 95 confirmed cases of Tuberculosis in Wisconsin [about 2/100,000]http://www.cdc.gov/cancer/lung/statistics/risk_state.htm
In 2004 the risk of getting lung cancer in Wisconsin was greater than 45/100,000I have gotten them at Fleet Farm (Germantown) in the fishing gear section. They are used by fly tiers.
Cheezehead is right, I am sure there are places you would like bring your fellow geocachers to, To share the experience or the view. We have all seen parking lots before, and the cache in the parking lot is getting a little old for many of us.
Marc is right, many of these caches were placed before we grew to know what was right and what was not. Several years ago, Trudy & I found a cache no more than a dozen feet from an active rail line [GC7B4B] . We waited for a passing freight so that we cound walk the tracks to get back to our car.
No matter where you place a cache, always seek permission first. This will save you a lot of grief later on. If you have questions about what is appropriate, You may post them here or e-mail one of the reviewers [try WISKID1 at GMAIL dot COM].
Welcome to geocaching friend…
The above posts tell you how but let’s start ayt the very beginning…
you must first have a user account established at http://www.geocaching.com [we sometimes refer to this as “groundspeak” or “gc.com”]Go to http://www.geocaching.com and follow the directions under: Create or Upgrade your Membership once you have established the account, you will be free to log your finds as described above.
congratulations on your many finds. It took Trudy & the beast several weeks to find 30 caches.
Terrain 1 means one may get to it in a wheel chair; terrain 5 means you must have special equipment or skill not possessed by all geocachers. Everything else is shades of gray but requires no more than a GPSr and perhaps a walking stick.
I think my left brain must be dead; I can’t see her spinning anti-clockwise no matter what… 😕
