edit: ooops — now there are 13 candidates! Holy Moley!! It’s like Cache of the Month!!! 😆
And there are 12 more candidates that have not yet accepted or declined their first nomination!
With the interest our membership is showing in this election, the next few weeks should be very interesting. ~tb
Oh, it is quite true. Trudy & I have seen Lil Otter’s horse, but it is not a sh**less pony.
My first take on the question was:
“Why do you travel? to cache?” and the answer is “Of course!” 😆

Locations for Trudy Camping?
If your question is, “What is the definition of Trudy Camping?” the answer is (originated in these forums by Trudy and the Beast): staying in a hotel, motel or Bed & Breakfast.
We can thank Geoffnsara for that. 🙂
Here is a little help finding it:
GCYHZ1
We have missed Joe as well, Trudy & I have been to all three of his caches. One is now archived but the other two have been active all along. They are both classic caches showing the creativity we see so little of today. GC1996 Cato Car Crash Cache and GC1DAC Moscow, We Have A Problem should both be on the required finding list for new cache placers.
Welcome back Joe. We hope to see you at the Camp out. T&tb

OK, now they’re gone. Is Gusty going to make any further prognostications?
FYI…..
The last time someone has VISITED the forums is posted in members profile. Profiles look much better today than they did during the last week of December. ~tb
Let me explain where this question is coming from and then perhaps you may each take another stab at the question.
from Article IV of the association bylaws:
Eligibility: All active members twenty-one (21) years of age or older that have been actively geocaching for a minimum of six (6) months are eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.
NOW
How would you define actively geocaching if it isn’t about the numbers?

Regarding disabled caches:
…Is this really still an issue? After reviewing the disabled caches within 100 miles of my home coordinates, it does not seem to be much of an issue an longer…
You are right, within 100 miles of your home, there is little cause for action. As a member of the BOD, my concern is for matters State-wide. Take a look at disabled caches in SE Wis, within 100 miles of Milwaukee and you can see the problem. Disabled caches left neglected may become geolitter. Or at least a thorn in the side of cachers running PQs to set up a days searching.

Why aren’t more people logging the find? The cache log has many names that just don’t appear on the gc.com cache page. Ecorangers, energy saver, “What next?” and Marc_54140 to name a few.

The beast was telling me about a junkyard in Baraboo. What’s that about?
And I said that you need to take your kids along, Gusty.

The cache owners openly note that they have created liar’s caches. I have no doubt that this is also one. But I’d still like to see this location.

I am confused by the concept of a liar’s cache. Is it OK to lie about finding it? 😯
The hider lies about the rating, finders lie about their adventure, why shouldn’t we all be allowed to lie about finding it?Oh that cache…ya I found it twice already. 😉
And I was right there with you, both times! 😈
Does Gusty think Da Bears can keep the Cinderella Saints from going to the Ball?
