Fu,
It is great to see that you have an interest. It energy, enthusiasm and commitment such as yours that makes good board members. It is probably not too soon to start thinking about running. You will need some popular support, at least two WGA members need to nominate and second your nomination to get on the slate. The process is detailed in our byLaws (check the “About Us” link on our home page). We will be electing/reelecting 4 board members in February. Start putting your platform together.

The idea behind PMG is what I was pointing to. One cacher [rpaske] placed a cache that spawned several others in the area that he could then seek. Your game plan would be to do something similar in your neighborhood to provide yourself with new chalenges. There is no need to drive 188 miles to visit the cache. You can meet rpaske at the campout this weekend. Ask him all about it.

GAMES? This is serious stuff, not a game!

When Heinz ketchup leaves the bottle, it travels at a rate of 25 miles per year
Correction…
When ketchup leaves the bottle, the rate of flow would be measured as a volume flow, not linear flow. Thus it would be leaving the bottle at a rate of 1.474 cubic cubits per month or 5.837 bushels per fortnite. This is assuming the temperature of the ketchup is maintained at a constant 307°K and the bottle remains inclined at precisely 45°.quote:

Multiple logs won’t increase your number of finds….. unless you log them on seperate days. At least it was that way the last time I logged an event cache. The work around is to change the date for each find.
This problem went away a while ago. Multiple logs can be made for a cache on one day and they will be properly tallied on the stats pages that are currently active.
This used to be one big P.I.A. See the logs at Latham Peak.
As you wiiiiishhhh
Of course, I will be with the original Trudy. ~tb

We saw a copy of it recently. I think it wasa in the hands of “What’s Next?”
Not guilty!
Topics can be removed by administrators but there whould have been no cause for an administrator to do so with this thread.
They may also be removed by the topic initiator; in this case, funallegers.
Funallegers may have been satisfied or dissatisfied with the responses and chose to remove it and the ensuing thread.
Another possibility is that the thread may have been lost if there was a system failure that required a restart from a back-up. While we did have a short outage, recently, this is not too likely.
