T&tbI have searched my Excuses Notebook from cover to cover. I just can’t find one to get out of coming to watch. So, I guess we will be there [again].
Now, if i could just find that old megaphone to cheer you on…
tbWe wanted this to be a memorable event so we started the day with breakfast at Apple Hollow with one daughter and one granddaughter and Team Synergy. Deborah and Maryann were probably too smart to follow us onto the trails. But, Synergy is not about to pass up a challenge. So we lumbered out after the gem in the woods that would be the subject of this thread. I think it was Sara (geoffnsara) that asked if we felt any different after reaching 1K. For the moment, I felt no difference. Trudy agreed that things seemed pretty much the same. As the day progressed, I felt a need to set our next goal… 500 caches in 2005. We should be able to do that with the help of Genius Loci and Hutt. Now after reading all your warm congratulations, we are overwhelmed by these sentiments. Thank you. This has made this festive season even more special.

We had made an effort to validate residency but a few out-of-staters have slipped past us and they remain on our master roll but may not appear on the list that is available on our home page. [we know who you are ]
We have not sent out any e-mail reminders. Our only reminders to renew have been rather low-key posts on the forums. Our membership list is at 611 and of those, at least 1/3 expired during this year. If you are in doubt, please renew your membership.
To this point, the only advantage top being a member has been the right to vote. We have discussed member events, membership cards with associated merchant discounts, and e-mailings. These discussions have not come pass. The Board of Directors would welcome any ideas to promote membership. About 1/3 of the state’s active cachers are members of WGA.

I have even been getting email that comes up with my email address as the sender GRRR! How do they do that?

We have enjoyed your caches, ProStreet. We are happy to see you get the opportunity to enjoy some of the others. Just remember that if you get too big for your britches, you will be exposed in the end.
