I noticed a bunch of new caches in the area since our last visit. We had visited caches placed by upnorthdoc and by Team Grouse Tales and feel you can’t go wrong with these.
MUSTS:
1) wear boots and blaze orange
2) take along maps with good detail [logging raods]
3) take a vehicle with a lot of ground clearance
4) take your camera[This message has been edited by Trudy & the beast (edited 09-11-2004).]

Visit the cache page and you will find two options at the bottom of your entry
[view/edit….] and
[upload…]select [view/edit…]
the next screen will offer the options to edit or deleteselect delete
the next screen looks like this one with an added line above the edit and delete buttons that asks “Are you sure you want to delete this log entry?” and offers the options to cancel or yes.select yes and the log is gone.
We need another catagory – Nano
Sizes would then be Large, Normal, Mini, Micro and Nano. Nano is where you would find Ralph.Have you noticed that there will be 28 submarine TB’s released at the event?
I guess this makes it a “Cache & Release” event.
R&R Wanderers is a new name to us, but they have appearantly been quite busy. 400 is a significant achievement. We would like to add our Kudos and envite R&R to join us at the events.
Be careful with that walking on water bit.. We know of a cacher that went through the ice twice in one day last year. He claims to be alright, but we suspect….
Actually, The fishcacher family had caught up with us. We had already logged the other caches when we met them on the trail. So, who is the speedy team and who is just early?
This is our favorite facet of geocaching, meeting other cachers on the trails. We love meeting old friends and new as we play this silly game, and sharing the days events. It doesn’t happen often enough for us. Each encounter envigorates us and drives us on. It is great to know we are not alone in our quest for little treasures hidden in unknown edens.
Steve,
It’s good to hear you are making a recovery.
T&tbThe Aldi Ad can be found on a Milw Journal insert Sunday Sept 5.
Before you buy, Get a copy of that ad and take it to Gander Mountain. They once had a low price gurantee that allowed for double the difference off their price. Their price for the etrex is $105. 105-80=25, 25×2=50, 105-50=55 Your price, if this program is still in effect, would be $55 plus the copy of the Aldi ad. Ask for details on their low price guarantee program before you show them the ad.
