Our experience with WAAS indicates that it helps to gobble up battery capacity. This requires more frequent battery changing and greater rates of burning calories on the trail. Thus helping to shed unwanted pounds or allow for more frequent DQ stops. One might get the same effect from mailing a SASE weekly.
It has become obvious that future events will require the purchase and abandonment of some article of clothing at the event to generate a lengthy and entertaining forum thread.
Wow! Ain’t it great!
Look at the scores roll up.
It’s great to see Ecorangers on the tally board as well.
Kudos, folks.
Keep on caching,
T&tbI am reading this thread at work and there is no audio card in my computer. Is there still a noise?
That’s one!
Now you are on your way.
Kudos.

I had tracked active cachers through the end of 2003. At that time you were #99 on the list. I had counted 300 active cachers at the end of 2002. Brew’s record shows a total of 255 at that time [not too bad]. the term active cacher is misleading. These are cachers that appeared in the recent finds list between the time we started [April 2002] and the point in question. our numbers have been trippling annualy while we lose about 25% of the old cachers. The alogrithms for tracking that plus the fuzzy math I have been using makes the error of my estimates at about 30%. but from this I would estimate that you were about the 150th resident cacher to log a find in Wisconsin. That would mean that your estimate is really not too far off.

The card works very well. We have been handing them out and sticking them in caches for over a year now. They seem to do the trick.
tb700 seems to be the number of the day. Kudos, Bobcat & team.
Of course, these encounters are going to happen at geo-events, and that’s cool. But, it’s even cooler when you meet cachers by chance. That is when there is no event involved. The ritual varies with the cacher you encounter.. Bad latitude goes for the hide and see if I can give someone a cardiac arrest method [“what would it take to get you into this fine automobile today?”]. Greenback parks so you can’t get your car out without some friendly discussion. Cathunter and Cheesehead Dave follow you to a standstill [must be a Kenosha thing]. Flushingrouse uses the “What, me?” line. GeoZingers, “Trudy, we have your phone.” there have been others too, all part of the fun.
Now how many have run into cachers twice in one day? Or how about the same cachers twice in one day? That’s cool too.
Keep on caching, there are some great adventures waiting for you.
tbThank you. We are humbled by your applause. For it is your thoughts, ideas and goals; your drive, achievements and triumphs; your ideals, fair play and innovations that drive us. You are our inspiration. This applause belongs to you.
T&tbTrudy & I really enjoyed a great day, with a great group and a challenging set of Temps. Kodos to Rhonda and her Rangers. This was a job very well done.
Ow! Foot problems robbed the beast of three months of caching this year. The good news is Aleve. Two hundred caches! Kudos and keep on caching.
Auntienae, we caught your 499th post and watched for the 500th. Trying to be the first with the accolades. Missed that, but we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to add our Kudos for your achievement.
