Next to log 1000? Kudos folks, it is great to see a family effort with this level of success. You are spending a lot of “quality time” together.
Congratulations!
From the list of your finds, it looks like you have done your homework. You should fare well with your new cache.
~tbGreat work Alan!
One might gain some insight from this:
Cache Maintenance….As the cache owner, you are also responsible for checking on your cache periodically, and especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to hunt for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable time – normally a few weeks – in which to arrange a visit to your cache. In the event that a cache is not being properly maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an extended period of time, we may archive or transfer the listing.

Rather than publish a list of all caches that may appear to be forgotten, I have taken on the responsibility of posting a note on the cache page. A gentle reminder that the cache is aging without evidence of repair. The note on the cache page isn’t quite as public as these forums but it can be read by any with a concern for the cache. As of now, I have only posted notes at caches that have gone over a year without a find.
~tbWe want to add our kudos here as well.
Keep on caching
tbYou two keep setting the bar higher for us. Kudos from T&tb

I don’t think anyone intended for these comments to be painful. What was said at the top may have been thought or said by any of our members who where unaware of the whole story. I have no hard feelings and hope I have not caused any. I just think we need to be more aware of the contributions being made by our web hosts.
tbLet me start with how grateful we are for the support Team Cachecows has provided. They have hosted our web site and provided IT services from the start. This organization and this website have become the best of their kinds because of the volunteer efforts of Alan and Arn. If the page is broken it will be fixed. It won’t take one dime out of your pockets. I realize that the remarks above were made tongue-in-cheek, but we need to show greater appreciation for what they have contributed before we criticize a flaw.
Alan and Arn, I appologize for what appears to be an impudent remark. I don’t think our membership realizes how much you contribute to our sport. And for those who are critical of this minor glitch, please be patient and thankful for what has been so generously given to us.
I frequently find Trudy walking in circles. Then I turn her GPS off.
