Been there. Make that a leather jacket. They just don’t make them like they did when I was a kid. Remember… they used to weigh 50 pounds with the pockets empty.

Been there. Timing is definately an issue here. We held out for warmer weather, then never got back to it. It is still on our todo list after nearly a year.
Hmmm, very interesting. You may have some work to do to prevent players from tripping on each other. If there are road miles involved [and there are], there needs to be a way of assuring that speed laws are adhered to; perhaps a bicycle course. A cash prize suggests the State may have an interest in the activity; a coveted prize may be more acceptable in their eyes.
Congratulations Mr&Mrs Cache and all the little Lotsas. Winter caching can’t be easy with little ones but I’ll bet it’s still fun! Kudos from Trudy too! ~tb
Thanks Steve, I have added it to my list of useful links. tb
Kudos Prostreet! You would be #80 by my count. tb
Trudy & I would like to add our kudos as well. Congratulations.
Helen & I are deeply touched by your sentiments. Thank you all for your support.
Please don’t send cards or flowers, these expressions of loving concern are all that we need to give us the strength to go on.

Cool! Congratulations T&R&B.
You havn’t cached unless you have seen little Betty Barr confront an intellectually challenged hunter with a loaded gun to make him put the cache back where he found it.

Dave,
You are holding the bowling ball, you decide when and where to drop it.
If you look for a concensus, you are only adding a level of stress to setting it up. We [all 40 of us] will work with whatever you decide, and love it. If others would want a different time or place than you might decide on, let them take the book.
No matter where the ball is dropped, it will hit someone’s toes.

Plan and post the event… they will come. You might get even better response if you first put together a few events locally to allow for some bonding before you tackle your project. The project not only sounds worthwhile, but it might be a lot of fun as well.
tbI thought I saw this comming… Kudos Jeff!
