Were you in the Kettle Morrain area by Long Lake by chance; between Fond du lac, Sheboygan and West Bend? Team Rusch might be able to give you some further insight.
The beast’s second case of PI Showed up over the past weekend. Arrgh!

Thanks for all the input. The Magellans are slick looking. (Plus that’s Tim’s favorite explorer. ) It seems to make sense to get another Garmin though. So we think we’re looking at a Garmin GPS Map 76.We found it online at gpsonline.com, but you know how that whole internet thing is. Has anyone had some experience with sites that have been good or bad?
Get your best legitamate price and take it to Gander Mountain. Ask them about their low price guarantee.
The cache logbook reveals no new information. If the holder of this bug would leave it in any cache, even anonymously it would be greatly appreciated.
I dropped the TB there on 6/15 and went to retrieve bugs on 6/27 in anticipation of the park being closed during July for the GMO. “I’m losing my marbles!!!” was not there at that time. The cache page log shows only three visitors during that time. I will chect the Cache Logbook tonight to see if there may be other visitors or notations during those two weeks.
We got a response from Genius Loci.
He sends his regrets. He has a work obligation that is conflicting with caching activities on the 25th.
He also sends his sincere appreciation for the way we have made him and his flatlander buddies feel so welcome at our activities.
Kudos Wisconsin cachers, you are very gracious hosts.

Nonsense! Brand has nothing to do with accuracy. Model may, since older models wouldn’t enjoy the same technologic advantages of the newer models. this may also be a moot point if we are talking units produced within the past two or three years. Brand advantage might favor another Garmin unit since you will want ergonomics and functionality to be as familiar as possible with the new unit.
Wow everybody is catching me asleep at the keyboard. Congratulations Tenner!
Hoo-Hoo… You caught me asleep at the keyboard. Kudos Ron for catching the event, Kudos RainDog for your achievement. Good Job.
Awsome!
Here is another alternative use for a GPS – a few weeks ago I met a golfer who has marked all the holes on his favorite course with his GPS. Now he knows the precise distance to the hole for every lie. He said this can frequently make a difference in which club/iron he selects for a shot.
Perhaps we can agree that we need a base set of rules for placement that is comprehensive for all SNA’s, indeed for all potential sites. Those rules may be a bit too restrictive in some cases. Provision for exceptions to policy should be made to allow for those deviations that are reasonable where the rules are too restrictive.
For example, in some SNAs it might be reasonable to allow a micro cache placement within 10-20 feet of an established trail.
A few weeks ago, Trudy & I had the opportunity to meet Rose. We thought at that time that it might be nice if she could reach 100 caches before she returns to Holland later this year. Now it looks like she is in a position to log 200 by then.
Rose, we are here to cheer you on. Go get them.

Searches in Excel by Control+F work as well. You don’t need a Data Base program for this. If you select Replace All and Fill replace (Wisconsin) with (WI) it will change each Wisconsin it finds and give you a count of them.
Kudos, Ken, Jeff. This is the kind of exposure we need.
