I’m as impatient as the next guy awaiting the new coin, and the WGA and the geocoin committee have done everything we can do to progress the coin. It’s now just a waiting game with the vendor. Updates will be made as soon as we have any more information to share. 🙂 I wish that there was more to tell, but there isn’t at this time.

Saw that on Fox6 this morning. Kinda pathetic that people are selling them on eBay.

No question about it, I’d contact the DNR. Most likely won’t get anywhere with the agri-biz.

I should clarify, this cache was marked “geocache”. Was just sharing a funny story.

Not trying to rub it in rat, but tested it out a bit today, some of the features far exceed my expectations. ie: never figured I’d use the MP3 player because I have one in my truck that broadcasts FM to my system, but after trying the NUVI I’ll be selling my broadcaster. The FM quality of the broadcast is crystal clear on just about any clear FM channel, and it broadcast much higher quality sound. My Nuvi through FM, sounds as good as a CD in the deck.

I havent found the bluetooth settings and sync’d my phone, but I’m guessing it’s as flawless.

The voice feature is the best part. Hasnt missd a beat, even clontrols the music, video player. $80 VERY well spent.

I;ve since seen this same unit for sale on=line for just $5 more.

I got the new Garmin yesterday and thought I’s write a quick review.

I have to say for the money, this thing is amazing. Can enter coords and cache with it, voice recognition works flawlessly, has a MP3 player, photo viewing, compatible with cell phones for hands free, detailed maps, it goes on and on. Also think it’s nice that new voices can be downloaded, as well as new vehicles. Just a ton of great features for almost no cost!

Well this one seemed to solve itself. I was invited to join a group this weekend. So I gave it one last shot, and whataya know, it fixed itself. The Magellan must have known the new Garmin was on the way.

Thanks for posting this. I had forgeten about WOOT and havent used it for over a year. I’ve had many great deals from them before, and even used to be able to make money on eBay reselling.

I snatched one of these up, as it has many more features than my current Garmin, which the maps are outdated. Hmmm, $100 for new maps, or $80 for a better unit? 8)
