PS. Dave, on the “Quick and dirty guide” Did you notice the links at the bottom send you to The Associated Press?

I noticed this when you sent that to me once before and I forgot to tell you. I wonder how that happened??? 😆

Thanks everyone. I’m adding all of your suggestions to my ever growing HTML code list.

I think it’s a fantastic idea! Where do I sign? I like the idea of a one time membership fee too. I wish there was that option for GC.com ❗

Thanks to both of you for such a quick response! Now I can finish up my latest puzzle cache!

can anyone tell me how or where I get the cool little blue ribbon to put in my cache page?

in reply to: When "X" doesn’t mark the spot! #1765031

It looks like all 4 caches are authored by the same person. I’m guessing there is something seriously wrong with his/her GPS’r or, he/she is converting one set of coords. to another, improperly.

Gonna have to go with the flow here too. Log it. The sport is not about the numbers. If you were clever enough to find it (even if by luck) then you found it. But I also agree that it should be posted in the log how it was found.

Remember not to take this sport to seriously, or we will all have children going to summer geo-camps learning how to outfox one another in geo-competition. We’ll have parents beating eachother up with thier GPS’r’s blah blah blah… You get the point! 😆

Thanks Dave! Sorry my first post was so… Well you know. But he did ask for it! I like to give the people what they want you know. 😉

My favorite so far is Dave’s “Stealth of Cachers”.

I mentioned this thread to my son and wife today, here is thier response.

Wife: A caravan of cachers (once again, we’d probably have to pay Diamler Chrysler to use it though) 😆

I’m happy to say that my Magellan has yet to fail me in this way. I have the Meridian collor with Mapsend Streets loaded in (sometimes MapSend Topo) and have not had a problem. Then again, I’ve never taken it more than 300 miles from home yet either.

Thats it! I’m never comming back here again! We pay how much for this service?!?!?!? 😡 Oh yeah, it’s free. I guess I forgive ya! 😆

I felt a little WGA withdrawl yesterday. Glad it’s back, thanks for your hard work!!!

Used golf balls are not a suitable trade item.

Yeah, why is it that people put these in caches? I bet I’ve done a dozen caches in my area that have had used golf balls in them. When I first started caching, I thought it was a joke, and then later thought it might be a sig item. Now, I’m just sick of seeing them.

Rusted bolts and rocks are also not good tradables.
