I’m affraid to look! ๐
Just ran through your puz twice and got the same solution both times. Should be fine.
Worst? The vaccuum of space. But I hope to try someday!!! ๐
I think you’re on the right track with the outback, they are GREAT cars, and they’ll take you anywhere. I nice cache-mobile to say the least!
Now you have some choices! The last 4 are all great cars with outstanding reliability and no major downfalls, with the Audi as the only exception.
The Audi is a great car to drive, but 2002 was a BAD year for the A6. It’s still a great car, but it’s a crap shoot. Some are reliable as Toyota’s, and others will nickle and dime you to death. I’ve seen some that never had issues and have 150k on them. Others that have had transmissions replaced twice before the 100k mark. My personal opinion is that it’s all in the way the car was driven by the previous owner. Personally, I’d love one, but only with an extended warranty, and full disclosure from the previous owner.
The Lexus is a re-badged, and upgraded Camry, but worth it, especially used. Change the oil and it’ll last a long long time. Essentially bulletproof.
Both Subaru’s are great cars with excellent reliability. My only concern would be the 2.5RS and it’s possible boy racer background. MANY MANY of these cars were adult owned and driven, but make sure you check the history, and keep an eye out again for any evidence of former modification. It’s doubtful that the 2.5 was modded simply for the fact that it’s a non-turbo, but better safe than sorry. ๐

You’re assuming I didn’t already ๐
AHHH! I wondered where that charge from Adam & Eve came from the other day. ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ LOL
The salesman told you about the lease because its usually an easier sale to someone whom has never leased. Even if you never told him/her, believe me, he/she can smell it. Generally, a lease is $500 in the pocket of the salesman, not always, but often enough that its worth the push.
There is ONLY ONE REASON to lease a car. You can generally afford more car, for less payment. That’s it, there is no other advantage to the general consumer, though for some, leasing IS a great option. Like you said, for people who want a new car every few years.
For instance, in 2007 I leased a car for the X wife. It was the CX7 I spoke of earlier. It was a $27k car we leased for $229 a month with only $1000 down. The dealer even paid our tax title and license to keep us at the advertised price and make the sale.
Just my opinion, cause I’m trying to help, so take this as you will.
All the GM’s, skip. Really, they have to catch up with every manufacturer on the planet now. I still know plenty of people from when I worked at GM. If the cars didn’t suck bad enough in the 90’s and early 00’s, now they cut corners where they shouldn’t. It’s all I’ll say.
Acura RSX is a great car. Based on the same platform of the Honda Accord, but do your research on who owned it. It’s another boy racer car.
Jaguar is one of my fav cars, but there’s a reason that Jag is only $10k. No one wants them, and for good reason. They spend a lot of they’re lives in the shop. And you think a Bimmer is expensive to fix?
Dodge Magnum with 100k? Do yourself a favor. Go test drive it. But first, get in the car by yourself and just close the driver door (with all other doors closed of course). Keep your ears open, as you do, then decide whether to even drive it. Serious, it’s worth the trip just to experience this one time. ๐
Be patient and you’ll find a better car, a better deal and walk away happy about the transition.
Hope this helps, and again, these are only my opinions. ๐
Cache robbers? Without a doubt. There is, and has been plenty of that going on.
Muggles? Yup, nuf said.
Rodents? Oh yeah! Found plenty of caches not where they’re supposed to be, and full of teeth and claw marks.
Aliens? Well personally, I#^รขโฌยข^รยฃ^>)(รขโฌยข()?^ รยฑ THIS MESSAGE HAS BEEN EDITED BY MIB
PROOF!!!

I started caching in March of 06 and there have been a lot of changes since. I have 600 and some finds, and I think close to, if not 70 hides and held three events, with another planned this fall.
I can’t tell where I fit into this really. Most times when I cache, the radar is working fine, and the finds come easy, but then there’ll be that cache, that no matter how easy it might be, I just can’t locate it no matter my experience. There’s one here in Kenosha that’s been my nemesis for years. And I see noobs finding it all the time. And here I sharpened my teeth in SE Wisconsin on Rogheff finds. ๐
Relating to the tech aspect, I find myself using less of it all the time, as for me, it detracts from the experience. I’d rather be looking at my surroundings than scores of LCD displays. For instance, I started caching with my Magellan Meridian Color, and although I’d love a Colorado or similar, I won’t give up my simple Magellan till it’s dead. “Paperless” to me has always meant; “Bring the GPS, remember everything else”.
So, I guess I’m and old school Nob.

Sadly, this is the VE (Value Edition) model. No turbo ๐ Was still pretty fun to drive. I don’t plan on doing any racing any time soon. And if I want to go fast, I’ll just borrow the Cooper for a day ๐
Linky for those how want to see it: ’08 Mazda6
Can’t go wrong with that color, and even lacking the turbo, those are still fun to drive! Looks like a decent price at $11995. They most likely have $10.5k to $11k into it and it’s worth every bit of the $16k asking price.
Things to look for:
Uneven front tire wear. The camber on these cars is set pretty tight, so the fronts can wear unevenly if the car has been driven hard by the previous owner.Pop the hood and trunk and look at the fasteners that hold the front and rear fascias (bumpers) on and check for any damage to them. If several look like they’ve been removed, chances are the car had a body kit, and may have been driven hard in it’s former life. Unlikely, but only takes a second to check.
GET A CARFAX! Most dealers will supply them for free.
Good luck, looks like a sweet new ride!!!

Pretty sure I’ve got a winner picked out, just need the gf’s nod of approval.
2008 Mazda Mazda6 i Sport hatchback. Gonna go check it out again on Monday after work and maybe have a new car ๐Great choice, and you won’t be disapointed with the 2.3L Turbo. Had it in my CX7 and that car screamed! Prolly nearly 700lbs heavier than the speed6 too. Just be careful getting into the turbo, it sux a lotta fuel and shreds tires!!!

I’m all for being natural, and have no problem with nudity for them or myself. But I guaranty you’ll NEVER see me bushwhacking in the nude. Skeeters, thorns, ticks and bare skin, especially there, just don’t mix! ๐
