The harder they are to find, the more I enjoy the cache. I’d rather search for an hour, or return time after time until I make the find, than be able to spot the cache 100′ away. I know I’m in the minority, and I don’t care. 😀
I also believe that WSQ’s should be in good taste, and that proper care should be taken when placing, and finding these caches.
However, my headstone will be a cache. I invite you all to come (some day way down the road!) walk where you will, sit and talk a few, even hold a flash-mob, as long as you are respectful to the folks I’m lying next too. Yeah, it’ll be a puzzle cache. 🙂
Congrats on the big 1k!!!
Hypothetically speaking, if you have a cell phone you really can’t stand, but the significant other doesn’t want you buying a new one just yet, you could, hypothetically, put it in a loose pocket and go climbing on the rocks of a large breakwater searching for a cache. You should also make sure the phone is turned off so it can’t be called to be found. Hypothetically. 😀
If you have not been to Petrifying Springs Park in Kenosha, you should consider a trip there. It’s roughly 25 minutes from bong and filled with some of the best scenery in the area, as well as some great local caches.

I recieved a phone call today from the Greendale police department. Here is the email I sent the owner of the cache:
Hi
I was out doing a couple of the battleship series. B1 and the other just up the block on Root River Pkwy. I guess I looked suspicous to somebody because they called the cops on me. The police officer requested that you call him to give him some info. I’m not sure if they did it but he mentioned the bomb squad being called out. His name is officer (___) . I think he just wants to know about them.As you see he mentioned the bomb squad. I am not sure if they were actually called out or not on this one. This was a wierd call in that I just wasn’t expecting something like this. I have been stopped plenty of times while caching, but never called on it.
I’m wondering what happened with the sticker idea? This might have saved some effort on alot of peoples time. I’m wondering too if maybe magnetic bumperstickers (I hate the regular ones!) or something might help? I do place the placard in the windshield from the Cache Bash about caching in the area, but you have to walk up to my truck to see it.
Thank you for posting this here. We’ll be taking a look at this in the Community Eduaction Comitee to see if we can help prevent this in the future.
I took it upon myself to just remove a recent JAVA update and everything seems to be working normally again. Lets hope it stays this way!
PS: I have a Rocketfish External after learning the hard way a few years back!!!
I recieved a copy of the map. If anyone would like a copy, I can email it to you. Just post here, or send me a PM

Welcome to the WGA!
Strangely enough, geocaching is my escape from technology. 🙂
dunno how this post got here. It can be deleted
Wow, how many hours did I waste (ok waste is the wrong word) on Super mario, Contra and my fav, Gauntlet? I still have some games but the system went bye bye a long time ago.
Love the idea for the TB, and very happy to hear you used a repro.
I just bought one. I’ll let you know what I think when it gets here.
