Oh wait, were talking about things that aren’t caches. 😯 😀
You left out the piano….
Don’t know how I could forget the piano! It’s not very often you’re walking through a forrest and run into a full size piano. Signing the keys was one of the highlights of my caching “career”.
Whatever happened, don’t let it get to you. I’ve been there too, and written threads just like this one. I’ve been tempted on several occasions to just pull the plug on my caches and give up, and actually had to on one serries.
No matter where you go in life, there are going to be people who rub you the wrong way. Geocaching, and the WGA are no different. I’ve seen to many good people driven out of geocaching, and would hate to see that again.
Take it all in stride, ignore the folks who bug you, and play the game the way you see fit.

As owner of some pretty tricky puzzles, I prefer that all finders solve the puzzle, or have at least attempted to do so. But I don’t hold it against anyone if they’re, for example, in a group and log the cache. Besides, to each his/her own.
I have many photos of caches and cache sites in my album. No one has ever complained. My only suggestion is that if there is a unique location or container, you may want to ask the cache owner first, which it looks like you’re already doing.

So, using his method, global temps rose 1.2° since 1903 Half of that rise came in the past 30 years alone. Now the question is, what can we contribute it too? Is it pollution, or is it caused by the obliquity of the ecliptic of the earth itself? My guess is it’s a combo of both.
Most important, question motives.
Precisely
If it’s there, I’ll find it. It’s 160 miles from home so it’ll be a few before I make the attempt. Most likely I’ll wait until spring anyway. I’m going to enlist the help of Rogheff if I can nudge him back to geocaching again.
If anyone else is interested in coming along, please post here. A group has a better shot at this, and I already have some good ideas on how/where this one has been hidden. We’ve had some very creative shelter caches in this area and I’m hoping those experiences, along with my own hides, will help us get the smiley.
If this is a liars club cache, we’ll weed it out. (I hope)
BINGO
Thanks!
Welcome to the WGA!
Yep, lost one in the rocks while hunting a cache in Racine. A very happy day as I HATED that phone!
I carry an automatic knife wherever I go. It’s main purpose has never been defense, but it works for that too.
On that note, I’m surprised how many places I can enter with the knife and not be stopped. I wear it so it can be seen plain as day, but never once had an issue. It won’t even set off the the metal detectors at the courthouse or Six Flags, and it’s military issue, all aluminum and steel.
A few NEMESIS caches on the way.

Compassion should not know boundaries. I have no doubt that those who have found it in their hearts to help the people of Haiti have also found it in their hearts to help those in their backyards.
The partisan bickering we could all do without, but disaster of this scale goes beyond any of that. As does the plight of the homeless, the hungry and others who suffer in our backyards. I see them at my school every day. People have reached into their own pockets to help those families when the need is identified.
My opinion.
Bravo!
And to quote my own signiture…
