…another one bites the dust. Where’s Freddie Mercury when you need him?
Congrats on the double Milestone!

Welcome to the WGA!
Not sure what they’re called, as they are my wifes recipie, but I can describe them.
She makes toll house cookie dough or something very similar, without the chocolate chips. Then wraps the dough arround either a mini Snickers, Mounds or Pepermint Patty. Then drizzles melted Dove dark chocolate on them and sprinkles them with powdered sugar. AWESOME!!!!
I’ve still have never seen a white jeep TB. Got the other three though.

Now, if they left the trash and took the light bulb…
BINGO! Nash park, more trash than grass.
NEMESIS caches MIA:
Big VW Bug
Liken (however it’s spelled) middle of the woods
cannon bolt
Mushroom in the middle of a forest
Reflector in a sign post
Knot in a tree in the middle of the woods X2
Light bulb
Magnetic micro
Rebar in parking blockThen there’s the three Riddlers gone missing. Ammo boxes, swag and all other contents remained, but the puzzles were all taken. Strangely even one of the stolen Riddlers contained one of my hand built wooden/brass safes and that wasn’t taken from the cache.
Strange how none of my other ammo boxes go missing. even the ones right off high traffic trails.
Jeff, I lost NEMESIS 15 & 19 in one weekend after making a post here that I was thinking of planting another NEMESIS.
Since posting this thread I’ve been contacted by several other SE Wisconsin cachers who are having the same problems. They’re creative and/or difficult to find caches are disappearing, but ammo boxes, match stick containers and caches in the open are staying put.
Odd how our most difficult to find caches keep disappearing, but the ones that stand out even to non-geocachers stay put for years.
And no, I have no idea who is doing this, but honestly if I did, I wouldn’t say at this point. If and when I can confirm absolutely who it is, I will post the team name here.
GRrrRrrRRRRrRrrRrrRrrR!
I guess I shouldn’t have posted that I was thinking of getting back out there to plant more caches in the NEMESIS series. This weekend, two more of them went missing after 6 months or more without any disappearing.
“NEMESIS #19 Going Buggy” was a microwave sized cache. It was a remote controlled VW Bug painted in cammo. One of the wheel hubs was the actual cache container. Cache was easy to find, but the log wasn’t. This wasn’t a typical NEMESIS cache to say the least. Someone swiped it and left a robot arm in it’s place.
“NEMESIS #15 I have an idea, let’s CITO” was a light bulb. Looked just like any everyday 60 watt bulb you see, except the glass was plastic and the bottom screwed off. This cache lasted 19 months without being disturbed. Teenagers walked by it day in and day out. It was just lying on the ground with all the other trash the teens leave behind, hence the CITO in the cache name.
I checked on both of these caches just to make sure, but they’re gone. Guess it could be coincidence, but… Sometimes I think someone just doesn’t want me in the game anymore. Kinda inspires me to make some really nasty puzzle caches. Say Riddler meets NEMESIS meets Jay. 😈

If you are cheering for the opposing team, while surrounded by Packer fans, bring lots of Corn Nuts to share. They’ll hate you a little bit less. Especially if your team happens to win! 🙂 🙂
Be in your seats before the game starts! The fly overs are COOL!! (The jets approach from the north end).
Not sure where you are going to park, but street side parking in Green Bay right near the stadium fill up about 3 hours before the game. (We live on one of those streets – we know!) Parking on lawns near the stadium runs from $5 to $25.00. And several streets around the stadium convert to one way streets after the game to get traffic out of the area faster.
Have a great time!!! Stay warm!!!
Any parking suggestions?
Male, 5’11”
Wife, 5’9″On my Riddler series of caches I go by Riddler instead of TyeDyeSkyCrew. I’ve only used a different alias on one other occasion, which was to start a new “tribute” series. But, my cover was blown on the first cache. 🙁
I added some photo’s to the last few pages of my WGA Photo Album of a few old NEMESIS and Riddler caches so you can get an idea of the time and effort I put into them. Many of them are the ones that disappeared.

Thanks for opening an old wound! 😆 JK
I’ve learned a lot since posting that thread over a year ago. Since then, many of the NEMESIS caches and a few of the Riddler series went missing on shady terms. I’ve since archived the entire Riddler series, as the containers were far to valuable to let any more go.
Most of the NEMESIS series is gone now too. I had planted number 20, a 7 stage multi-cache, but it was never published. By far my best work, the most fun and the most time and effort spent on a series. A few locals were given the coords and were able to find the final in a single days work. They had some great comments too.
Losing all those caches (and the busy summer) took the spark from my caching, so after 6 months, NEMESIS #20 is still unpublished, actually archived. The stages should all still be there, and I may try to reset the cache this fall. As for Riddler, I have three new ones I could put out, but am afraid of losing them. The cost, time and effort for Riddler are far to high to lose more to caching thieves. Yes I know they were cachers. Only a cacher would solve a 5 star puzzle, cross a field of knee deep mud, and swim or boat to an island to steal my treasure chest, yet leave the rest of the cache and the nearby bonus cache intact.
So what lesson did I learn? Not to let this get the best of me, and never to place another cache I’m not willing to lose.

We’ve been here before. If I felt like it was worth it, I’d sit here and shuffle through all of mine to update my muggle list from June of 08 twice the length, but I don’t B&M anymore, I just take it all in stride. Even when a custom light switch with a key that’s gonna cost me $20 to repair/replace, argghhhh!
Bumping that thread from last year to the top. “Venting”
