Is this a “Bucket list thing”? There was a point in my life where I thought jumping out of a perfectly good airplane would be fun, but for some reason I have the fear of falling thing…. I have been up many times in private planes but jumping out of one isn’t much of an option.

Running a snowmobile at 115 mph (speedometer, not GPS) legally on a trail is indeed a rush I have experienced. Now to get the last 5 mph to bury the speedometer…..

Nope, I’m only 38 and plan on being around for awhile. I’ve recently lost nearly 35 pounds, I’m off of the insulin booster I’ve had to take for years and feel like a new man. Full of energy again, and needing to do something fun. Hopefully lots of things!

Any local film developer can provide you with film canisters. The only problem being that they make horrible cache containers. I have a bag of about 50 of them from 2 years ago, and have only used one to make a NEMESIS cache.

Waterproof matchstick containers are much better suited for caches. They sell the kind you are looking for at WalMart and every sporting goods store I’ve been in.

I buy all my cammo tape from WalMart. Just get the good stuff, Duck brand, not the cheaper brand that turns blue.

I find ammo containers at Gander mountain when they have them. Usually about $6-$7 a piece.

I get my Rite-in-the-rain paper from the bookstore inside Gateway Tech. Wife works there, and we both go to school there so it’s convenient.

This will be my first jump so it’s a tandem. It will most likely be my last as well. I’ve put off to many things in life, and this was one of them.

The first cache we found, which was many years before we started caching, we stumbled upon while hiking the nature preserve behind our place. It was a clear peanut butter jar, just lying on the ground. I believe I did the hider a service by placing it a log just a few feet away.

I came home from the hike and looked up GC.com. At the time it looked like a waste of time to me, but years later we saw Vince on Fox6 and bought our first GPS days later. I wish I had looked into the sport better way back then. We missed out on the founding years of geocaching.

I have dozens upon dozens of great DNF logs for our caches Match Head, Riddler series and the NEMESIS series. Take a look and use what you like.
