Well, since my season is all but over, if anyone that’s making the playoffs, or trying to make the playoffs is interested in any of my players, PM me for a trade.

Got this same email about a year ago, and added the result as my tagline on a local geocaching forum.

I ran over Chuck Noris because I’m cool like that. Must have been wearing balck that day.

Today’s would be: I ran over Chuck Noris because I’m sexy and I do what I want.

Not sure which one I like better now. 😀

It’s archived, but I’n guessing you can still sign the log. In fact, I’m sure of it.

And, It was a great cache!

This sux, I need Devry Henderson to have a stellar night tonight against The Pack so I can score a win. Then again, I’m only down 4 points, so maybe stallar is the wrong word. I just hate rooting for the other team. 😕

I don’t have much experience with the Nuvi’s except for playing with them while searching for one myself.

What I can say is that unless you’re using it for an MP3 player, or picture viewer, the only difference between the Nuvi’350 and the model I have (Garmin Street Pilot c330) is price and dimensions. The Nuvi is flat whereas the Street pilot looks like an old model TV set from the side. But the c330 runs only $175 new.

I can’t say enough about my street pilot. It works flawlessly, even through busy cities, and never loses signal. It loads fast, and even my 77 year old father could use it the first time he tried. (saying a lot for a man that’s had the clock on his VCR flashing 12:00 for 10 years!)

I havn’t had the opportunity to play with a Nuvi yet, but I understand they have a transreflective screen that shows brilliant color and contrast in the brightest of ambient light. My C330 does not and it can make it hard to read in midday sun.

My C330 was waiting for me to negotiate downtown Atlanta in peak rush hour traffic with the message “Lost Satelite.” For the most part, she is right there with the current position.

I haven’t had either of those problems. And I hope I never do. 😀

11 for me, but that’ll be shrinking by at least one tomorrow.

in reply to: RAMA cult #1897777

I was going to stay out of this one, but the topic just never went away.

All I know of this group is what I’ve seen on the news, and what I can find on the web. 99% of it (the 1% being the web-site posted by hogrod) is negative. This would lead me to believe that this is a negative group, with a negative impact on the community.

Can anyone post anything positive they do, or have done? Charity work? Donations? Anything besides help themselves, or should I say they’re “leader”. HAHAHA “Take me to your leader” comes to mind. 😆

    Seriously, anything???

I mean, if all you have to do, to start one of these cults, is have an idea, then I have one. Myself, Marc 5 digits and Rogheff should start a geo-cult and base in on impossible puzzles and hides. Then, when you want to search out our caches, you can give us all your belongings including your GPS’r which we’ll be happy to rent back to you for the cost of your souls. 😈 😈 😈

((((This was a sarcastic message, brought to you by the geo-sarcasm club of Wisconsin “GSCCW”, TyeDyeSkyGuy (Founder) 2008))))

in reply to: Caches damaged or stolen #1898013

Two weekends ago I picked up all but one of my Riddler caches and archived them because someone was stealing the puzzles from the caches. I left one out at Bong State Park because I figured no one would go through the hassle of solving a 5 star puzzle, then trudging through 150′ feet of knee deep mud to steal a cache they most likely would not have been able to open anyway.

Well I was wrong. I left that cache, and stupidly posted that I did. Now it is gone as well.

It’s really frustrating to spend all this time and money on caches like this, only to have one person spoil it for me, and for those who loved the series. Now I don’t know if I’ll ever place another Riddler cache.
