S|S and Pirate Monkeys,
I’d like to thank you both for stating everything so well, hammering out your differences, and doing so in public. Most often these arguments start in public, and wind up in private with no resolution, or a bad outcome. You both have done the right thing by listing your differences, solving them and having the foresight to know we all have bad days. 😀
This community is growing, and there are a vast amount of opinions out there. No one is right, no one is wrong and we are all entitled to have our opinions, and feel the way we do at the time things happen. As S|S said earlier, statements are made, and sometimes taken not how they were intended. This seems to happen frequently, and not just here at the WGA.
I’d like to encourage more of our members to air their differences in public, so to solve them, and receive direction and input from others, rather than taking things into their own hands. We’ve lost many good members to hurt feelings and unresolved issues. And a few have been saved as well. My hope is that good gestures like these continue here at the WGA.
Kudos to both of you to admit mistakes, apologies, and move on.
Works good for me on IE8
I should be working
Waisting time in front of screen
It’s my slow seasonThe simple answer is no. 😀 Minting unique coins is expensive. I’m not sure it can be done for under $1000 and that is conservative. There are however, coins you can get in on, to have your caching name on a coin. Geo-Jellies and Geo-Nerds come to mind, and I know there are a few more.
Pathtags on the other hand, are more affordable.
First, Welcome to the WGA, and back to geocaching! Congrats on the COTM nomination as well.
I don’t collect pathtags, but still think they are pretty cool. I know many people who love to trade them.
Members, I’m sorry for the delay. I’ll check on the staus and post back as soon as I hear anything.
Slow cook it in a crock pot, pour a mix of cranberrys in sauce with orange marmalade on top, and just let it cook about 6-8 hours on low. Tender and juicy that way!
Thanks Becky and Dave for all the hard work, and endless hours of putting up with my cache hiding! 😀 Without you guys, I’d have a bunch more caches to maintain. LOL 😆
Seriously though, Thanks for all the hard work! ❗

On a side note – I’m thinking we might be able to incorporate this into the WGA website on some redo’s in the future. I’ve been playing with some other GoogleMap backend programming / integration and that may be an interesting feature to add to encourage people to use the WGA site.
I agree
We’re just starting the color change here in Kenosha. Some trees are still fully green, while others the tops are just starting to turn. Losing a lot of leaves in this wind though.
Google Earth works well for finding boundaries. They are usually pretty close to exact. Just make sure to check the “parks” box on the left.
That’s awesome, and nearly 4 times as far as any of our trackables made it before being “lost”.
When I started caching, I used silica packets in a couple of ammo cans. They worked well for about siz weeks, then had to be replaced. Once they are saturated, they leak a white goo. I stopped using them. It might work well for smaller water tight containers tho. Never tried.
Pretty sure there was a discussion in these forums about it 3-4 years ago.

I think you meant to say if it weren’t for that one bad “Apple” incident, life would be perfect today. 😆
Even God can’t afford an Apple. 😀
I knew I dropped my precious pony somewhere. 🙁 Now he’s a mess.
