Wow, congratulations on #900. So do I get the tickets now? 😉 😆

All very enticing offers indeed!
However, I would really like to get 2 other tickets so I can see 2 games instead of just one. However, TYE I would consider selling them if it came to that because I had to do that the last 2 years. Just to let you know.. I have not asked for more than the face value plus the “handling charge” that I had to pay. I am not out to make a profit. Although a guided caching trip in your area sounds like a possibility for an upcharge!
PS I may have to see all congratulated me on my 900th find recently in the “Milestones, congrats” forum. 😉
I’m at your service whenever you’re in the area regardless of the tickets. You did great on those puzzles I posted the other day, and I’d bet you would have a good time solving some of the puzzles in our area as well. SE Wisconsin has some very unique caches, as well as cache hiders. If you’re ever in the area, let us know, we’lll take you to the best of the best. Of course most of those are mine. 😉
I keep hearing so many good things about these Zuma Miles caches. I only wish they weren’t 250 miles from home. 🙁
If you don’t get any serious offers, I’d pay real good money for those tickets. I’ve been on the waiting list for season tickets for years, and I’ve never been to a game. I’d love for my son to experience a game with me sometime, but I can never get tickets.
I’ve written about a dozen letters through the years to the powers that be, within the Packers, explaining how my grandfather played for The Pack as a founding member. I’ve never received a single response to any of them. Surprising for a team like the Packers.
Anyway, as long as they’re not insanely expensive, I’ll buy them if you find no trade.
Wat to go Matt! You ever do anything bet cache??? 😀
We use two vehicles also. The Main caching vehicle is the Geo-Jimmy currently at 177,000 miles.
We just bought the other one and it has under 1500 miles so far, only about 30 miles caching. The TB has not come for the CX-7 yet. 🙁
That’s awesome, but you should find a way to get the dog tag in the picture.
Really great pic though, very creative!!!
Whether it’s about the numbers or not, it’s still a fantastic achievement!
And, an advanced congrats to zuma, for the eventual pass the other way, and so on, and so on… 😀

Here is another link….http://www.sissy-n-cr.com/store4.shtml
Go to the store area and check out the battery holders. I have one and its the greatest thing since beer.
Thanks for that link, I got a battery holder and a stencil!
There are generally available in the pharmacy section of stores like Wally-world and K-fart. I know for sure they have them at Walgreen$, but I hate to send any business their way. They are also double the price or more there (like everything else).
Awesome John, keep it up!!!
I experienced those “upgrades” while in progress. While editing an upcoming event cache page, the site was continuously slow, and at times not working at all. This totally trashed the code I was writing to the point of losing it all.
There was a bright side to it all, I ended up learning a bit more on HTML code, and reflected that in my cache page. Now I know how to embolden, change the color, and change the text size of links in my own cache pages! Thanks geo-programmers for screwing me up!!! 😉
This is an interesting idea, so I had to try it. It took all of 30 seconds to get the info I needed from google earth to claim this cache.
I did log the cache as a find, as the owner states in his cache page that it’s perfectly acceptable to do so, however, I logged it as a note, not a find. This will most likely be my last “armchair cache”. Unless of course this rain never stops! 😀
Well, I woke up to ankle deep water in the basement today if that counts. The sump pump quit working in the middle of the night (I think they are designed to do that!). I went right to Menard’s this morning for a replacement and the shelves were empty. I went up to the service counter to ask if they had more in back, and was told “NOPE we’re all out”, while at the same time I’m looking at 6 of them on the shelf behind the guy. All of them with big red hold stickers on them with “contractor this” and “contractor that” written on them.
So, I asked the guy again, “You sure you’re out?”. “Uh huh” was his reply. So I said, “what about those ones right behind you?”. He said, “Oh no, those are reserved for some contractors who called ahead of time. So, I walked around the counter and picked one up, and walked away. The guy yells to me “hey, you can’t take that, it’s reserved I told you”. I replied, “Yeah, well you lied to me, now you can lie to them, it’s all good.”
Hey, I got mine. First come, first served. 😈
Another option is using google earth for starters.
When scouting a new location, I start there. I can see all of the caches in the area, and take the coords right from the computer and put them into my GPS. Then when I head out to the site, I already have an area I know is safe to place. Then, when I find a good spot, I use my GPSr’s “Go to” function, and check to see if any caches come up with 0.1 (528″). If not, the cache stays.
One very important thing to point out with google earth is the fact that the coords are never exact. Meaning, the icons jump around, so it’s necessary to get the exact coords from the cache page and enter them into GE, before using the ruler tool to take your measurements.
And, as said before, watch out for mystery caches, and multicache WP’s!
