Well at least now the next geo-bomb they find, they’ll know what it is. It seems most of the police in our area have the geocaching thing figured out.
My Brother-in-law who is a Kenosha Police Officer says that the department had been notified by the FBI about geocaching and what to look out for.
Maybe the FBI should send that same memo out to the rest of the nations smaller communities? And, maybe we all should take some responsibility here and conatact our own comunity police and fire and let them know a little bit more about our fine sport.
So um, how do you waterproof an accorn? 😆
Everyone’s a stranger until you meet them.
Whatever you decide, just make sure to clearly mark the outside of the container with “Official Geocache” or something similar. Then, it’s not so striking to the Police or unsuspecting non-cacher.
Most all of my caches that I can fit any writing on say “Official Geocache”. I have also added “www.geocaching.com” to the outside, and on occasion even my own e-mail address. Most pipe-bombers would probably not go through the trouble. 😉
Welcome to the addiction, from another Kenosha cacher.

My StampCongratulations!!!
Way to go John! 1811 is just around the corner.
You know I’d be in for a few.
It;s going to get there the same way all the rest will. Traveling from cache to cache. I’d love to take it there personally, but with only 5 caches to do in the whole country, I think I’ll find somewhere else to go. 😆

Ok, I know I’m missing it here, but what was the reason it was archived? Was it because of someone getting hurt or was it because someone decided to cut down a tree?
It looks like the cache was “outed”. The cache was never difficult. I have not done it myself 😥 but have been told it was basicly a 1 star cache at a boat launch. I read the posts on the cache page and didn’t see where it was “outed” though. I only saw one refferance to it being “noo big deal” or something like that.
So, where was it “outed”? I don’t know.
Mine is on it’s way to Poland. I see only 5 caches in the entire country! But it’s neighboring country, The Czech Republic is FILLED with them.
Anyone want to race???
Got mine today. It will be on it’s way to Poland tomorow!
18 is low, VERY low. I’ve been there, and it’s worse than being 400. Whats even worse is when you get that low, you can’t think clear enough to eat. And we all know whats next if you don’t.
