I love the idea of cache maintainance, however, I think you want to have it late enough in the year so that there is no snow and ice. Many of the caches I have done in the last week have been either frozen to the ground, under ice or under water. Maybe April or May would be better. It may also tie into people doing this when they are out scouting areas for new caches.
Uncle_FunMy brother (alphacat) has had his legend for more than 2 years. He also has the mapsource software so is able to change the map set in it.
No matter what model they ultimately choose. If there is a Gander Mountain nearby, they will match ANY competitors price. Search the web for the cheapest price, print a copy of the model and price. Take it in and they will match it. If they are getting 6 they may want to call ahead to verify that they have them in stock.
I have bought 7 gps’s through them and probably will not go elsewhere.
