Congratulations! It has been nice to spend time with you guys throughout the year at various events.
Uncle_FunCongrats on the milestone. Too bad I missed the event on Sunday, sounds like it was fun. Hope to see you guys in person soon.
Uncle_FunHey, looks like I missed helping you guys celebrate your 600th by about a half hour. Too bad. Congratulations on 600! Nice to see you again at the All-A-Glow event. Hope to see you again at the March on Washington DC event in November.
Uncle_FunOk everyone. Washington DC has been activated. The first three stages of this multi can be completed anytime. However, the final can only be done on November 13, 2004 at the March on Washington DC event. The cache page for Washington DC multi has been updated so please read it.

Greyhounder, Whitnallgps, Lost Boyscout and myself with the find tonight at about 9:45pm. What a great clear night with tons of stars. Greyhounder brought the milky way snack. Glad we did this at night. Wish more of you could have joined us.
Uncle_FunOK here is the plan. We are meeting in the parking lot at 9:30pm Friday September 17th. I talked with Lost Boyscout and Whitnallgps and they are going to be joining us. I may bring Geocaching Widow along as well.
Hope to see more of you there. Don’t forget your headlamps.

Greyhounder,
I may be able to go this Friday night. I will need to check it out and also the weather report. I will let you know.
Uncle_FunLet me know when you are thinking about doing it and I’ll see if I am available. Always looking for an excuse to go out caching.
Uncle_Fundjwini,
Nice going on the second one hundred. It is nice being in a metropolitan area. Keep up the good work.Uncle_Fun

Miata,
Thanks for posting the link. Really appreciate it.
Uncle_FunOur Scout troop has been looking at picking up some GPS’s. I found that Best Buy online had the price for the Garmin Etrex at $49.99, I took the add in to the Gander Mountain in Franklin and they priced matched 4 of them at $49.99 and then with it being the boyscouts it was tax exempt. So I paid$199.96 for 4 of them. Wow!

Green Army Man, congrats on the milestone. Nice to see you back in action. We will need to get together for some caching.

09/03/2004 at 8:30 pm in reply to: Did Uncle Fun cross the 500 cache milestone this morning? #1755685Yes, I did hit 500 today. I did it on Habitat 2 if you want to check out the log. By coincidence my brother who started the family in geocaching (Alphacat), lives near LA, California, is at 499. Of course I emailed him to get out and get one more.
Thanks for the kudos. Uncle_Fun finally got out of the house! -
