There was a boat rental place on the Southwest side of the lake. Don’t recall exactly where or the rates. But several people did use it. She also let you launch your boats there for a fee as well.
There are no requirements for cache page or cache logs! Only that the paper log is signed.
Get over yourselves.
May want to double check the date. The link you included was for the 2010 summerfest schedule.
Maybe I am missing something here. Why would/should the WGA cover the cost of these and make them free to its members? Or are you thinking of selling them at the WGA store?
I was part of a group that was in the area yesterday and several of the Laughing Water finals and a few other of these caches were infact missing. We spent a couple of hours DNFing these. We even verified locations of the finals with previous finders in some cases. This would not be the first time I have heard of this happening in the state.

Uncle_FunThis is why I stopped going into the WGA forums. Too many people trying to tell others what to do.
I’m sure the WGA board will address it.
Is this the best way to handle it? Did you try to email the “offender” directly?

05/05/2008 at 8:07 pm in reply to: Discussion of not logging temps, starting with this event #1888656Well, I had plans to attend the event with some of my caching posse based on the fact that the temporary caches would still be logable for this springs event. Now that they are not logable, I will probably talk to my posse about staying more “local” to do a cache run.
Just like politics, I will let my $$ and lack of attendance speak for itself.

Bring the GPS to the event on Saturday. I can show you there how to do it. I’m sure there will be plenty of others there to help as well.

Which is why I have stopped placing caches in these parks and will be archieving all mine in the parks once the form for existing caches is required. Nothing worse than the Milwaukee County government.
