one was archived because the camo was cleaned up by a trail crew… the others were urban caches in Yuma, AZ that i brought with me up here. there’s still two of mine up in the mountains if you’re looking for a hike.
i’m finally catching up in wisconsin. up to 52% found here (631). AZ is at 33% (404) and CA is almost 10% (104).
if anyone is still planning on going down there… i won tickets for the imax at the maze location (2 tickets – star trek). if anyone is interested in picking them up on the way down, just send me a pm.
this link was just sent to me from a caching friend down in AZ…

and the terrain is only at 3.5!!!
word on the big board months ago suggests not likely in the near future. the project has been put on hold indefinitely.
i see you’ve gotten some responses already… but i’m available that day if you still need some help.

3. Golf balls (why?)
➡ (if you are a cacher, do you have time to golf?)i manage to split my time evenly… i like it when people leave my brand of golf ball in a cache, i automatically make the trade then. haven’t bought a golf ball in 18 years 8)
never any injuries… did get my mustang stuck in the desert on my very first attempt at a geocache… and have been stopped by Yuma Police Department, US Border Patrol, and a warden for the Bureau of Land Management.
if you want a great story… PassingWind has one for you… you can read it here http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=36897&st=7650&;p=1946086&#entry1946086
a truck!
was driving a ford mustang my first year in arizona… once i became obsessed with caching, i needed something to get me out in the desert on unpaved roads (and some places with no roads at all).
i’m interested in adopting Wanderlust: Meandering and Oxbows…
i was actually hoping to do one similar up north, but found out it was on recently purchased reservation land.i’m game to head down. will also probably try to cache in as many counties on the way down and back… an all day (or weekend) adventure if anyone is interested… we can discuss routes
i can set aside some time for community ed or membership…
pm sent

thank you all for the messages… it’s been great to get to know so many new cachers from all over the state.
A box up north would be great! another cache up there is always a bonus.
i have a long overdue trip up there at the end of the month to place a few more myself. -
