    I’m spoiled… I have a Nuvi 2595LMT

It has voice recognition, so I can say “find Culvers” and it comes up with all of them near me and asks which one I want to go to. I have an iphone 4s, and Siri doesn’t work nearly as smooth as my Nuvi.

I have one in Verona that is PMO, due to it’s difficult nature. It helps me keep tabs on who is looking at the page and even looking for the cache but not necessarily logging the DNFs. By having it PMO, it also has protected the area a bit more since I feel that if you have invested $30 as a PM, you have invested yourself to the game and are more likely to take care with the cache and the surrounding area… and so far it has worked.

As far as the Mellen caches go, the reason is because Vol 1 has required a lot more maintenance than all of my other northern caches combined. I didn’t want the same to happen to Vol 2 since it is also located in town. Since making Vol 1 PMO, I have not run in to any issues. This is a big plus since I don’t get up there as often as I want.

Both of my active AZ are also PMO. I can see who is looking at the pages before attempting them and send them a message if I need any maintenance help before they go after it.

I’ve had mine on my watch list since I left Arizona, but finally went back to the page today and realized that it has only been found 51 times since 2006.GCWYDN

I didn’t realize at the time or even until today that I was the 5th person to find it when I first started. I look back at my log and realize I didn’t type nearly as much as I should have considering what an adventure it was to get there.

unfortunately all 8 of the group campsites at Governor Dodge were reserved for our traditional weekend prior to the BOD meeting. We decided it was in the best interest to keep it at Governor Dodge but to reserve on the next available dates. June 1-3 is the official Campout schedule

I guess I’m a sucker for sports advertising. I also had an adidas shirt with David Beckham on the front that I wore right through…

impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. impossible is not a fact. it’s an opinion. impossible is not a declaration. it’s a dare. impossible is potential. impossible is temporary.

There are two motivations in sports… which is yours?

It was from a New Balance commercial a while back. the two motivations are supposedly Love and Money.

My two favorite quotes attributed to someone are both from Steve Prefontaine:

“to give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift”

“a lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. i run to see who has the most guts.”

in reply to: Should the WGA do more to promote CITO events? #1956401

I don’t think it would be out of the question for each board member to host a CITO in the name of the WGA.

If we make this a tradition, as the board membership rotates, so would the events. It also does not prevent us from continuing the established locations like the road cleanup.
