Well REI still does not have the 550 yet. I am going tonight to return my 400t and get the store credit. I will order the 550 on-line and it will be here in a week.
We have not but I did hear that they are changing one requirement. The clunker does not have to be insured for one year any more.
Barry/Val that is a link to a coin image. 😆 I am interested to find this macro also.
Last year we spent two days at Shelter Cove, California, in Humboldt county. The road in was 21 miles long and because of all the twists and turns it took us about two hours to drive in. We stayed right on the Pacific Ocean. There were rocks and sand when the tide was out and there were sea lions on the rocks. The tide comes in the water was right on the edge of our building. There were deer that came with in 25 feet of us and would just stand there. It was a very secluded and wonderful time.

Great to hear, I will be calling REI tomorrow to see if they have the units in stock. I will be doing the same thing you did and return my Oregon 400t for the Oregon 550 non-t. I really don’t need the topo maps.

Vegas Gamblers beaten by Mathman and beaten BAD might I add. 😆
What are you a 12 now. I am just an 8, I will win one every sixth time.
I was wrong you are a 14.
See what happens when I go and fight mad. You hit me once with the axe thingy and knocked me out with 105 damage with one swing and I was dead. I may have to fight amongst my rank to build up and then take you on.

C’mon -cheeto-, I mean you’re practically my neighbor! 😆
I don’t normally hire people, but all my friends who said they’d help mysteriously can’t help now. 😕
Thanks for the help furfool – sometimes even the simplest things (phone book, etc) are forgotten.
I say hire Cheeto.

You should stay with the Vegas Gambler. He stays in the basement now days. You could probably get the rest of the house cheap.
I’m in the basement, my wife gets the rest of the house.
Hmm, I don’t know then. I did not know the boxes stayed there.
Plug the Oregon to your computer and go into the garmin folders. In one of the two that show up should be a file called Garmingeocaching_visits.txt . Delete and the found caches are gone.
Here is the link on the Oregon Wiki.

It will be under GC 11
Well I can help to tell you where the crap areas are in the city. Anything that is cheap will be in those areas. There is a Super 8 in Germantown just off Hwy 45. There is another Super 8 in Wauwatosa or the Days Inn in Wauwatosa, which are in nicer areas and both of these put you close to the Milwaukee County Zoo. There is a Super 8 in Saukville/Port Washington. I have not stayed in these hotels so I can not verify their hotelness. All of these will put you closer to Milwaukee than Sheboygan. Hope this helps.

while searching olde stone quarry park in door county last year for a place to hide a cache, I found the perfect rock for the hide. as i looked under this large rock i found a 4 inch piece of pvc pipe about 3 feet long with end caps. as i opened this “tube”, i realized that it was a geocache that was not listed on gc.com. inside i found trinkets (swag) and a note from a hotel in sturgeon bay stating that this was placed there for their overnight visitors to find. i replaced the cache and moved on. being in a dnr park (which needs approval) and not listed on gc.com, is this legal? not that it really matters, but i was just wondering.
I remember someone posting this on the WGA forums. I searched but did not find it.
We have a cache that we placed and did not know that there was a letter box on the other side of the deck. People have found both and have commented on a double find.
Yeah, your right, I would have raced you there. I am looking forward to your reviews. How do you like the SD card for the maps? I usually get the CD, but they get expensive. I really am looking forward to the camera, three axis compass and the slick screen. I can deal with the accuracy of the unit if it is the same.
