We used the Ram Can Mount for our Colorado. We used it on our recent road trip to California. We had the power cord and everything worked great. It will depend on where the cup holders are in the vehicle being used, but I would highly recommend it. It raises the GPS up about six inches and does not block you view out the windshield.
We are still on our road trip. We are currently in Salem, OR, on our way to the Original Stash. We are then heading to Yellowstone for two days and onto Custer N.P for two days and will be arriving home either Sunday or Monday. Sixteen days of great memories.
