We have planned on attending, but realized that we work that weekend. Next time please check with our schedule to make sure we can make it. 😆
Well T&B we have not met but I just wanted to add that I had my spine fused in May, 2006. It was after that we discovered this sport. My doctor told me to start walking after the surgery and we started geocaching and we started slow. Because of HIPPA laws all of you reading this don’t read the next sentence. 😆 I had my L5-S1 (lower back) fused. Today I am 100% happy that I had the surgery. There have been adventures where I pushed it while still in my “turtle shell” and fell down a couple of times and ended up like a turtle on my back but that was because I did not know my limits while caching early on. Good luck with the surgery.
Also if you have any questions feel free to email or PM me, I will be happy to answer any questions that you have.
Oh so many possibilities. Great update.
Great looking coin, can’t wait for them to come out.
I just remembered that if you are on the strip and into waymarking I started a Las Vegas Benchmark category. They are along the strip, on both sides, starting in front of the MGM and go to the north. We located up to 25 of them but only marked one so others could find them and log them. Of course it was number 21. Here is a pic of the one we found in front of the Monte Carlo.

I would highly recommend checking out Red Rock Canyon, it is east of Vegas but easy to get to on the 215. There are caches in the canyon and in the state park there that will take you to some wonderful views. Here is a bookmark list http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=f8e6e6e1-6709-4a7d-95dc-e341793bb6b8
Also Valley Of Fire State Park which is north of Vegas on 15 is another wonderful SP that has some out of this world rock formations. Here is the book mark list for VOF http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=c74180d6-3f3e-4c3a-a3c6-791111aac8e3
Third Mt. Charleston had some of the most unusual cache containers that we have seen and it is NW of Vegas. The temps at Mt. Charleston were in the 70’s when we were there in July and the temps in Vegas were 100’s. This is one that we did on Mt. Charleston but you can find ones close to it. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=934aad2f-c048-47c6-994a-b75fc4ed1f9b
I should correct my post, Red Rock Canyon is west of Vegas. Enjoy, VOF is a great place.

So are there any caches in honor of Liberace ???
Yes, there is one in Las Vegas GCG2YD LV Flamboyance
Arrrrgggg, we actually knew this.
Wow two and a half hours after a post and it is rescued. Great job Cachew.
Happy to hear that everyone had a great time. This darn job of our always gets in the way of the great events. Maybe I can convince my wife that we need to quit our jobs.
Great job everyone, we also miss the news because of work.
Damn that job. 😆
Yep and the original Vegas Gamblers here, go figure.
Well in my other Yahoo league, I was second in the auto draft and did pretty well. I hope you can do better for me. Ranking sheets, bahhhhh, It’s all in how you manage your team.
Can I assume that everyone is from Wisconsin, we should plan a get together in late October for a little chest thumpin’ and braggin’ rights as to how each team is doing. Just a thought for the League manager. 😀
Any way good luck to all and lets have a great season.
GO PACK

yup, good instructions should work like you are talking. We’ve done that for kids treasure hunts before
Start with your back to the white door, take 15 steps and turn right, go down the hall to the flusher (bathroom), jump up and down 5 times, turn left and go to where you may get wet(shower) to find your prize…
With these instructions I ended up in my back yard. 😆
