If you don’t get any serious offers, I’d pay real good money for those tickets. I’ve been on the waiting list for season tickets for years, and I’ve never been to a game. I’d love for my son to experience a game with me sometime, but I can never get tickets.

I’ve written about a dozen letters through the years to the powers that be, within the Packers, explaining how my grandfather played for The Pack as a founding member. I’ve never received a single response to any of them. Surprising for a team like the Packers.

Anyway, as long as they’re not insanely expensive, I’ll buy them if you find no trade.

Wow way to bring this thread back on topic. tyedye gets my vote. The coins I was offering were activated anyways. 8)

in reply to: How many miles on your primary cache vehicle? #1878420

Well we just got this geomobile in October so we have 11,000 miles on it. It was our source of transportation to GW5. It is a Ford 500. Very roomy and nice size for me being taller. We have Sirus Satellite radio and we did just purchase the life time contract after the free time.

Here’s the low down from Vince C. on the event …

    Hi Ron,

Thanks for your e-mail. The CacheFest we are holding with Schlitz Audubon Nature Center will NOT have trackable coins (there will be coins to be given out, but they are not official geocoins), and the caches will NOT be listed on geocaching.com. This is mainly an event just for fun and specifically designed for newbies and people who want to learn about geocaching. But obviously everybody is invited.

As I understand it from Jim Hyatt at the nature center, they will hide 30 caches throughout the center. Each cache container will hold a stamp. People participating in CacheFest will have a passport booklet with coords to each cache. Once they find one they can stamp their passport book. There will be prizes for those with the most stamps, etc.

… I was thinking about this, since the focus is newbies and want-to-bies … it’s likely good that they are NOT trackable coins, as I got to think a lot of them would never make it out into the geo-world any way.

Well he does say that coins will be given out but not official geocoins. We have to work that day at 4 P.M. so we may just have to skip this one.

    Can I buy a U and an A, Please.

in reply to: People who keep your travel bugs! #1878171

I have a post in the help thread about this very topic. I set a TB free in one of our caches and the cacher that found it was their first cache and none found since. I have sent emails but nothing. So I would assume that it is gone forever.

Well this thread has been dropping down the list. I just wanted to let everyone know that we still have some of our coins available for trade. Send me an email if interested. [email protected]

Here is the front of our coin.

in reply to: The DeLorme….how to do it? #1878033

Well if you look at our DeLorme page we have about the eastern third of the state done. We have gone out to find caches just to be able to knock off some of the pages. We plan on hitting more as we go to the WGA picnic and to Menomonie for a concert the night before. I wanted to travel around the state this year in an attempt to get all of the pages but the Misses shot that down. Maybe next year.

I had it, and it confused me. But I really did not give it a 100% chance and I was able to get my money back. I would say order it, try it and if you don’t like it they will return you money.

Well work is not cooperating, so we will be unable to attend this event 👿 . Paula and Jim, you need to consult with us on our work schedule so we can attend some of the events you have planned 😛 .

My wife and I just started GEO-Caching and are having a blast. We live in Kaukauna. One of the other fun things we both do is Fantasy Football through Yahoo (Free). We are not really into betting and I can’t because of my profession, but half the fun is having a live draft and doing it up really nice. I would love to host a live draft this year and get to know some of the local GEO-Cachers. Brenda and I don’t really get too serious about FFL or football in general, but we like the friendly competition and it gives us something to laugh over.

Are you a referee in the NBA? 😆

We are in Milwaukee and are in two leagues already, so we are set.

So now we went from chips, pretzels, etc to Desserts. Hmmmm, what to do.

in reply to: 2007 WGA Picnic #1876469

We were second to register after Jeremy. We feel so proud 🙂 . Anyone else interested in seeing the Little River Band in Menomonie and Friday night, the tickets go on sale Wednesday August 15th. We are making the trip there and then going to the Picnic the next day.
