That is way cool. I was able to go around the County and add some new things.
I use the Garmin City Navigator North America. I just ordered a 1gb card to use. From what I was told is that with the preloaded cards you can not change maps or customize the area you want to geocache in. Many people are suggesting that you purchase the City Navigator NT because the maps are smaller and you can load more onto the SD card. So from what I understand is that it is better to get the CD and a bigger SD card than buy the preloaded card.
I hope this ramble helps.
That’s great. It was even cooler because you discovered our Vegas TB at the event.
Received ours today. It’s journey is to go to Bells Garden. It is just outside of L.A.
Well I guess they have started sending out the TB’s. There is one in GCZG8P. So keep an eye on your mailboxes and caches. Keep the bugs moving to their destinations and raise awareness.

I signed up for mine too. I am diabetic so I encourage you all to sign up for one, and to consider making a small donation to the American Diabetes Association
They are getting close to a cure, and have improved treatment ten fold in the last 20 years. Any amount is fine… ANY!
Happy Holidays to all.
Thanks for adding the link. It is a very worthy cause.
You are correct we were sleeping. 😆
Well I just upgraded from a Legend C to the 60CX. I have to agree with the base map issues. I have City Navigator V8 and was able to load the whole state of Wisconsin onto the SD card. I think the cards are the best and you can upgrade to bigger memory cards. Now regarding the 60CSX, the only difference in the two are that the CSX has a barometer and altimeter. If you need that the I would highly recommend the CSX. However, for about 40 bucks cheaper you can get the CX with all the same features minus the alt and barometer. I ordered mine at buy.com and was able to get it for $287 shipped. That’s with a $15 first time purchase coupon from the site and the $50 rebate from Garmin (after purchase mail in rebate).
We had our wedding photos taken at the St. Joan of Arc chapel before we were Geocachers…..Does that count. I also went to the Prior well when I was a kid, and for that matter we would always stop to see Old Smokey also when we were down there.
Whoo hooo! We made the leader board, although just barely. But none the less we are there for now.
Great commercial. You don’t see somthing that clever from Magellan. 😆
Good to know, thanks.
Now you change it. I just learned how to unzip the file and load it. 😆
Finally got mine to enter. Only 12 areas? Grrrr. 😡 Well just more of a reason to seek out wonderful gems of our state.
Yep, Cana Island was great. We were on so many back roads and in many unknown parks it was wonderful.
