We got a Green Jeep and placed it in a cache. 😆 It was picked up, logged and not moved along for almost a month now. 😥 We just found a Green Jeep in a cache in Oak Creek and plan on dropping it in Door County next week. 😛
It is one event. For the WGA picnic you attended and got a smiley. Everyone who logged a found temp cache did not get credit for extra finds that I know of. We just logged the event as attended.
The WGA picnic was our first ever event attended. I will have to admit that there were a lot of caches to locate and really not enough time for them all. I feel that no matter how many caches you have you will have people standing “handing the stamp around”. There was camaraderie on the paths and the searches, however I did find it unappealing for the hunt of a true cache experience. What does this mean. I feel that an event should have 15-20 caches that range in difficulty, location and style. If this can’t be done then I would vote for temp-less events. That said I wish that we would have hunted less and socialized more. All in all we did have a great time but will have to plan better next time. Either way we will attend and hunt or attend and socialize.
Our five cents minus three
That was my Question to them and they stated that my Legend C could handle the Navigator V8. That’s what they say anyway.
I received an email from Garmin and they stated that they are phasing out city select and all updates for it and they suggest city navigator V8.
Received mine today. When I went and grabbed it off of the Jeep web site is says the name of my Jeep is Devils Paw (Alaska) and that it’s origin is Michigan. I don’t know why since I’m in Milwaukee. Anyways, I sent in my request around the 25Th of July so I don’t know how they are sending them out.
Are they arriving via regular mail.
Just so you know that plants and flowers were taken in Kenosha and Racine downtown areas but no Geocachers were blamed. I just would assume that it is just cheap people.
Jeremy, thank you very much for helping me out with this, it did work. I was also able to add to the states cached in (2 out of 50 so far) LOL. My wife and I will be at the WGA picnic and look forward to meeting you and all the other cachers. Thanks again
I don’t show any finds on the WGA site just the GC site. Is there a way to transfer the logs from GC site to the WGA or do I have to go through and log all of my finds one by one on the WGA?
