Even after all of this, the code on our website keeps turning the quotes to something odd.
I cannot fix this I am guessing. I type it correctly on the page and it converts it to the wrong way. Ugh.

I have pasted the code from notepad and updated the CACHE PAGE BANNER page to keep any formatting stuff from browsers out of it. I have pasted the code into an html editor on Chrome and I.E. 11.
I am unable to NOT make it work.

They aren’t working for me either, even on my old cache pages!
I’ll look at retyping this and testing again. The banner link is not dynamic (that one we would occasionally update, went away with the change to the new website) so what ever code you have should still work.

You were right, the quotes still looked funny. I tried it again and saved it. Will look at it again tonight.

Thanks Chris. All I had done with the old version was change the direction of the quotes which seemed to be mucking up the code.
If anyone has a cleaner version of this let me know and we can replace this one with something better.

I updated the WGA TB Race page. Does not immediately show the rankings of racers but following the hyperlink to the tb-race.com site will give what is needed.
Changed some text around but left what was there for 2014 as reference.

Ok, not sure what to do with the info but I see the “View Reply” hyperlink for the Thread Stealers references the very first post (http://wi-geocaching.com/forums/topic/thread-stealers-with-too-much-on-their-minds-2/#post-2044669) so it is doing what is says it is supposed to do but isn’t doing what we want it to do (go to the most recent comment).
We have shared this with our new Site Admin Melissa and when she has some free time, will begin to look into this. Only seems to happen with T.S. forum.
To me the View Reply is not updating when posts are added to the forum.

Following the signals from space.
I wrote to Tejaka on Nov 5:
Hello,I am Chris Walker (WalkingAdventure) and President of the WGA. The Barron County sheriff contacted us with the information they had an ammo box that was discovered while out on patrol.
Here is a copy of the information they passed us:
“While on patrol in the county I located an old ammo box used for geocaching. It had been opened and thrown onto a logging road but the guestbook and a few items were still inside. I brought it back to the office and it will be here if someone would like to pick it up. It came from the area of 26th Ave and 24th St near Brill. Our non emergency number is 715-537-3106. ThanksDeputy Ricky Schill”
Checking the map I see you have caches nearby so I thought I would contact you. I am also contacting RiceLakeGeocachers to see if they know who this could belong to.

SMOKEY BEAR LAKE PARK is close to that location and is listed as a 50 cal Ammo can
Tejaka is the owner. did you get a reply from him/her/them/it/whatever?
Nope.

Last month this happened for another cache down by Madison and I scoured the logs (j&k&kids was FTF) but we couldn’t figure out where it really was. Sometimes I think the people we are talking with get locations messed up. This one was the Ag Center that was concerned people may wander across the road and get into the research crops (?) tainting their research. I assured them that we could get it archived if they wished but I also felt pretty positive no one would walk the 100 or so feet over to a field when the hint said “STOP” and it was at a sign post.
Sometimes it is just fun to play Batman and figure these things out.
