Who needs a nametag? SO far there are just a couple of requests.

What are everyone’s adventures for the weekend? I’m heading to Norway, MI. I’m going to be an honorary Yooper for a little over 24 hours

The LONELY CACHE GAME is back ONLINE!!
Thank you all for the patience exhibited while we worked through the issues with the Lonely Cache Game submissions.
Here’s how we are going to handle the July-August list:
You will have until 5 pm on September 23rd to log your points.
After 5 pm on the 23rd, we will then upload the September-October list, bringing us back to current.
Please be patient with the approval of points, we anticipate a big rush and the Admins will have to wade through them for verification.
If you cannot log your LCG points by the 23rd, please contact a BOD member so we can work through your circumstances.
Thanks again everyone, it took awhile but we are back and ready to play.

I just had a chat with someone yesterday about this topic.
Yeah, Vanilla ice cream is awesome but eventually I like sprinkles or chocolate on our ice cream.
When I started this fun diversion, I was a “city” boy and had no interest or idea about heading out into the woods where lions, tigers and bears were waiting to devour me. That’s changed as I explored all the interesting corners of the geoworld. I also had an interest in the technical toys of the game which helped draw me into caching.
While many people may not ever wish to do further than the sign posts, I bet a bunch of us like to stretch our horizons and see what else there is.
I’m going to keep hoping that the stop sign and guardrail are the gateway caches to the LCG game, puzzles and the great hikes.
If I don’t keep hoping and working to the positive future then what do I have to keep me growing as a Hider and a Finder?
The more I meet the more I realize there are way too many people out there to categorize one way like I used to. When I first started I thought the average player was near 60 and retired because that if who I met while I was out caching during the work week. I was right but also very wrong.

Thanks s|s for the inspiration.
At times, we can get to feel like we are on an island by ourselves. It is reassuring to see the remarks above from everyone that shows interest and we are 1st fixing what is needed.
Are there those that visit the site that could be interested in assisting us? The coding aspect of all of this is well over my head but generally all most groups look for are those willing to help out for a cause they feel passionate about.
We are open to feedback of all sorts here on the site and the WGA in general. I know I’ll listen to everyone because you all have a bunch to offer.
I know if we work together, we can come up with a good plan. Don’t write us off! We’ve never failed yet.

But then how do I decide if I should make that long trip or not?
Looks like a decision has been made. The pressure is now on for some real entertainment by the Prez and the BOD, or bartrod will go away unhappy. Bring on the greased pigs! (or at least some bacon)
Rod must’ve had an open weekend if this will be his entertainment.
Have we ever disappointed?

This spot will work until we get the more permanent module open. Thanks Chris- I’ll have it for you next weekend.

Way to go. I’ve enjoyed reading your WGA State Park Cache logs as you made your way across the state.

Wow.
Very cool. Renee would be doing a lot of transports down I65 and I get back there 4 times a year or so. Hmmm.

oh but then how do we create anticipation and yearning?

Some great ideas are coming from the BOD for the picnic. We are up to no good which means it should be fun.

Ran out of time but hope my return visit in December to work on this. Thanks for the feedback.
