Wahoo! What a great accomplishment and I have personally enjoyed reading each log.

It is fun to play with SPAMMER’s posts:
Nyshtong “Seeing the title, you may puzzle…….Hi I am a SPAMMER and WalkingAdventure is playing with my posts before he removes me with extreme prejudice! First he will mess with what I am sharing and then he will delete me and all of my hard work, like I never really existed. BooHooHoo”
Unfortunately, his work has been dissipated among the universe which is too bad because we will never know the connection between James Gordon Brown and Nike shoes.

Someone (I’m not naming names) is procrastinating on finishing the WGA newsletter. Sheesh!

1500 finds in one day? Is that doable, even on a power trail? In a 24 hour period, that’s 62.5 finds per hour. That means a person would have to find just over one cache per minute. It just cannot be done. It takes time to get to each cache 528 feet apart, find it, retrieve log, sign it, replace log, replace cache, then dash to the next cache. It just cannot be done.
Is seems undoable but it happens often Todd. I’ve read of 24 hour expeditions to do them all, multiple people and also preparing a few to start with.

BobCam came through the area today. He checked on several of my caches for me. The only one he DNF’d was the one that was missing last time he passed through.
I had several BobCam logs, too.

I agree with the REPEL. Wabeno a week ago 12 ticks. This weekend in Mole Lake in knee high or taller weeds, 0 ticks with treated pants, socks and shirt.
Now I wonder if I need to wash these separately?

I hear there is one in development in the Lakewood area.

2. My favorite WI State Parks in order: Amnicon, Rib Mountain, High Cliff, Nelson Dewey.
After that, they are all very good. I still have about 20+ to visit so I have a ways to go.
3. Bring more than one writing utensil. Sounds funny to say so but it is worth it. I’ve lost a pen only to make the long walk and have to sign the log with a stick or a thumbprint. A pair of tweezers is helpful for removing small log sheets. All the other tools can get added to your utility belt as you gain experience and insight.
4. When writing a log, share an experience- something you saw, felt, heard…everyone like a good story and the Cache Owners (CO) like reading nice logs about their caches. Do all you can to avoid TFTC, “Another smiley for me”, “simple find” and other logs that while maybe not meant to be offensive some across as haughty. Congrats on logging a 1D/1T…it wasn’t meant to be difficult so no need to boast you found it.
5. When you have the $$ and the inclination, go ahead and buy a handheld GPS- it will be worth the investment. You can ask our opinions on the best models but that is like asking which is better- Ford or Chevy.
