Teresa, how many boxes do you have left? Coming down to Appleton anytime soon?

I have suggested to the Trail Bosses that they log the caches. They do not own the caches, even if they did place them. Most owned them only until the publication and then they became ours. I haven’t logged High Cliff but I will when I go out there to do a check up.

I think that if you put in the effort to place the cache and maintain it, you should be able to reap the joy of the smiley.

I believe the majority of TBs have logged their caches.

Let me know if you need a contact name and I’ll get it for you. Maybe now that the season is over they’ve squirreled themselves away to another park.

Thanks for checking back in. I was sending out an email tonight to touch base with some of the Trail Bosses.

Life jumps at us everyone in awhile and I understand. Please do your best to have this ready by Nov. 1st. We need to begin discussing the Challenge and the WDNR wants to know the plan for 2014.

I dumped myself once (or twice) in one of GR’s nice ‘yaks. I was on the bank trying to get in. Sensible planning should get you through.

If I was ‘yaking out to an island swimming distance away, that’s one thing. Going out for a multi hour excursion in a blow up toy is very different. FF is great for me ad my short trips.

What are you wanting that would be different than the View Map on the trackable page or view in Google Earth? Maybe something to print out?

Rosie, thanks for the offer. Email or PM me. We want to keep this a traditional cache and there looks to be several spots outside the park that would work. I’ve been checking out the sat photos of the area and there’s great opportunity.

After placing the WGA cache, you could then do your own multi to bring people to the spot.
