Just put in for half day of work that Friday. So will be arriving around 3:30 but we are not staying at the group site though. we will be staying in the regular camping area with our camper.
My husband, I and family would love to help out. We have only been to a couple events, but will help out wherever we can and are needed. We live about 10 minutes from the park.
Heading to the library tomorrow with kids, gonna check out Boxcar Children # 113. 😀
Thanks Rslash, needed a good laugh tonight.

Family and I will be at site 80. Can’t wait.
I like kc9gbo response. 😆 A short hike for us is under 1 mile round trip.
We use facebook and once in a while youtube. We don’t tweet.
Nice story Braid Beard. I do have to agree geocaching has expanded our trips to some locations we haven’t been and in process educated my kids further. Although we have always gone to state parks, it has taken us to ones we haven’t yet been to and additional county parks. It is great indeed. Thank you to the many that place the caches.
We’re headed down to Florida for Thanksgiving, and we plan on doing some caches along the way down and of course when we are there. Might head out and do some in the area before we leave this weekend, and we will be staying out of the woods for these.

Took my DD’s to Berlin and did WSQ Bleed it Out, they loved it. Did some others in Berlin and ended up being an awesome day.
Setting up to do the others this weekend, if anyone has more suggestions. Not sure that I will make the one in Milwaukee, but maybe at a future date.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
Everything was great! The grills not only provided heat for lunch but a few of my girls used it to keep warm during the later portion of the event. I usually not a fan of big crowds, but everything was spaced out so well. Got to meet some nice folks. Wish we could have set up a campfire gathering for those who did camp in the park. Of course I am sure we could have found someone to join if we would have asked. There’s always next year.
We were lucky and won some prizes which were greatly appreciated. We usually don’t win anything. For us, geocaching is well deserved family time together and prizes where just a bonus to the day.
We are looking forward to see you all at the next event and out on the trails!
Our families favorite state park is Kohler Andraes State Park in Sheboygan. There are around 27 within the park and 76 within 7 miles of the park. Lots of trails along the beautiful sand dunes.
Hartman Creek is also a great park. We visit there often as we are only 10 miles from it. Great trails around the lakes and some memorable finds within the park. And like mentioned above there are quite a few within a short distance from the park.
Thanks everyone, we had a great time at the Geopicnic. Thanks Sandlanders for putting this night cache out for everyone to enjoy. It was fun to find the night cache with Mister Greenthumb and Sunshine and thanks for the photo on this one. It was definately the perfect night to find it with the moon showing through the trees.
We are bringing Veggies and dip 🙂
Looks like it’s a go for us, got confirmation husband was able to get the weekend off. So we will be camping forsure, staying Friday and Saturday night.
We will be bringing BigSisterStephanie with us also.
