Thank You! At this point if I can stay at around 100 per year, I’ll be happy.

I feel that the mother cache worked great, especially for our team. My wife and daughter don’t keep up with my son and I. It allowed them to go with on some satellites, and socialize at the bench with others when they wanted a break. It’s not about the numbers, just the hunt. To team up with others is great.

Thanks, I also know how hard it is to get out for some people. For me, fall is very busy. So to be stuck on a number is very understandable.

I agree that we need to empower the ranger. I feel that it would be a benefit to have a statement from the state that approves of general caching in their parks, and that the local ranger can be helpful in our search to protcet certain areas that they don’t want people to be in.

in reply to: What GPS’s are y’all using out there? #1745030

    I am using a Lawrance GM100 also.
As stated above, it seems great to me.
I feel it outperformes my brothers etrex and my dads emap. Although if you also want to use it for traveling, the emap has many more features for the road. Like what exit is coming up.
Also as for the batteries, I bought an adapter plug for use in the car. Which saves alot on the batteries.

Sorry to say it looks like yawning dogs cache is very close to mine. As I wanted to hide it there also, but stayed away. Do I leave it?

Sorry for the delay, The co-ordinates that MR Andersen gave you are correct. If I missed typed Im very sorry.

I replaced an item for a knife from the shoops cache on the 17th. I will try to keep something on hand so I can do this whenever possible. I didn’t feel that it was all that bad, but if non cachers raid it, I would rather not have a weapon in one.

Just a note to let you know.
I posted that 2 children were coming. My son will now not be in attendance. So 1 less (11 year old) will be there. My (8 year old) daughter will be there with us.

    Thanks for putting this together.

make sure you leave some caches for me when you plan on meeting Mark. I will most likely be going with him to place containers.
    Thanks

Thanks to all who came and enjoyed a hot summer day. We really enjoyed meeting some new people and getting to know others better. Great stories were told and a overall good time was had.

It must have made your hands slippery enough to (drop the bike?).

Great spot. Just made it back in time from Under Where? It did look like they cut a lot off the story, but still turned out well.
