    Hi Seekers:

If you haven’t already contacted Buy the tie or Cathunter, feel free to contact us.

We are in Deforest. We have Mapsource TOPO, and a Etrex Yellow, Legend, and Rino 110, but it should be same uploading procedure I would think.

Ok, so Im a little slow, but I too am paperless.

The template thing and modifying thing is still a bit beyond me.

All I want to do at this point is when I spin the file, I want to be able to use the new icons that can upload, but I prefer to search for a cache on my etrex legend by GC#, not by cache name, which is usually truncated.

I’m not sure what to change or how to open the template if even that’s the way.

Can someone please give me a step by step to change this?

    Thanks,

If you are in or around or passing through Dane County, there is a gun and & ammo shop in Sun Prairie off of Bristol St. (Cty. N) called amazingly, “The Ammo Box” 608-837-8400. They have 30 and 50 calibur for sure, about 6-10 bucks a piece.

That’s way too easy… Why didn’t I think of that?? LOL Oh well.

Cachew’s Markwell works perfectly as well! Thanks!

Unfortunately, with the one I have, the directions talk about a typical install
and a full install, but there is only a typical install on the installation itself. The typical installation runs from the CD.

Thanks everyone for replying, and Cachew, I think that is what I was looking for. I’ll try it out tonight.

This thread got me thinking about headlamps. Team Lotsacache helped me decide which ones I wanted. For 12 bucks each, I got the Rayovac Sportsman head lamp (at Walmart) which has 2 RED LED’s 1 white and 1 Krypton Beam light. Tbe beam light is amazing bright and goes far into the night for such a small lamp.

The red is good for walking at night and looking out for thorns, and watching your GPS with out burning the batteries up. The white is good for reading only.. not too bright for hiking.

You can switch between all of them with one knob.

So if there are others still out there reading this thread looking for advice on lights, there’s my $.02!
