Any date set yet? We are hoping to come if it isn’t the 1st or 2nd weekend in Sept.

Sometimes, I don’t have the patience to stand there and LOG the cache while 8000 of our state’s finest try to give me a reverse blood transfusion! Yep, found it! Lets go! LOL

When you say waypoint average, do you mean taking afew waypoints and averaging the location so that the waypoint is more accurate?

To do that I just take the .xxx, add them together, and divided by the number of waypoints you added together. IE:

    if my waypoint is 43 24.434, 43 24.439 &
    43 24.441, then my average waypoint is 434+439+441 divided by 3 = 438.

So my latitude waypoint is 43 24.438!

    Make sense?

Thanks everyone! It’s been fun! What a great hobby. Now, if we can just figure out a way to get paid for this…

This would be 8-2-2003! We’ll be caching near Westfield area during daylight hours, then going to the night cache after dark. If anyone wants to join us, post here or email us at b_and_us @ yahoo.com

The WGA annual picnic is coming up very rapidly and we need help getting door prizes. If you would like to make a donation, great! Better still, how about your employers? Or the merchant’s that you patronize? Ask around and see if you can’t come up with some items that would make cool prizes for your fellow cachers. Post your results here. Thanks from all of us. T&tb for WGA.

I’ve asked the local Erehwon Mtn. Outfitters here in Madison to donate something. The store manager will have to talk to corporate to see if they can toss in a few things.

in reply to: Attention those that attended the Mad City Event #1735615

Hi, “Generic” TB is on the Mad City cache page. It is a TB tag (ONLY), with nothing else. Can everyone that was present make sure you don’t have it? You might think it is one of your TB COPY tags?

    Thanks

    Guilty, as charged.

We are actually heading up there this weekend…and will be on vacation up nort’ during that time. We will be coming back from way Northwest, but maybe we would be in the area on our way back home. We will be caching some up there this weekend…to bad there aren’t more. We are going to buy a few amo cans and potentially place a few (my old stomping grounds) in some great areas. There are so many untapped places up there for caches! Keep us posted!

    Steve:

Realplayer has a free player, they just put the licensed one in front of everything to get you to buy it.

See this page on the right side for the free player.
