Come on people. . . Just be the driver and send the passenger out to make the grab. Easy, Peasy! 🙂
I think that I DO get to slide based on my senior status. Anyway, who said I was on the team? I would have to get those new spikes installed on my walker so that I could dig in!! 🙂
I just heard from Lisa and she will work with TBC to see what she can do to help out.
I just know that she is going to have us doing pushups, situps, etc. 🙁

Oh wait…
Maybe MnGCA is already in training.
😯Wayne, would you be willing to contact LMcGisme and see if she (I’m assuming “she” since you mentioned a women’s team, but you never know) would be willing to either officiate or at at least point us in the right direction?
I sure well. I know Lisa pretty good. I will ask her to get back to you directly.
I am jealous that they got to play on the Forevertron!! I did not see my fav pieces. . . the frog band. 🙁
For those that missed the show, it looks as though it will be broadcast again on 01/18 @10:00PM and 01/19 @ 02:00AM. The show is not yet up on HistoryChannel.com.
LMcGisme would be a great resource for this. She competes on a women’s team. She would know al the rules and could also setup up a training schedule for us. 🙂
Do EC’s and virtuals when it cold. No log to sign or swag to trade!!
I do not know what brand mine are, except that my hands they are warm and my hands are rather clammy when I take them off. I got them at ShopKo and they even have a pocket for a warmer.
I think that one thing that we all can do as cachers is to add a good “trackable passport” to those that we pickup and lack one. This is a game that we all need to provide a little help to the other “team mates”. I have replaced many a worn out baggie for the travelers that come to stay at my hotel.
Fame is fleeting at best. Since I own and control my own domain, I would know if and what ends up caught in my filters. I would like to see an example of a newsletter though.
I cannot honestly say that I remember receiving a newsletter. I probably did and if so I would have opened it and at least scanned the content.
I have always been very aware of my limits, both physical and mental. Yes, I believe the latter can come into play on higher terrain caches. You need to know the best way to approach them. At the ripe old age of 58, I am very happy that I can still tackle most of the caches that I have come across. It is also refreshing that I can keep up with the younger cachers on outings, although the oldest little hippie could give me a run for my money when he gets a little older.
Most of the caches that may require special equipment are not for me. Not going to take up scuba at this point in life. If there is a chance of danger, then I make sure that I have someone that knows how to dial 911. Wimpy??? No, just smart.
Just like a police officer…Make sure that you always go home at night safe and sound.

Can’t claim any credit for their stop here, although it is a perfect stop. Will be interesting to see if they “have a bit of tea with Lady Eleanor in the Gazebo” We’ll be watching.
Hope the show the cache, but no virtual logging please. 🙂
I cannot tell you how many times I have had to contact a CO and ask them to remove an NM attribute from their cache. I have seen it where there may be up to 6 months of logged finds since it was turned on. They sometimes seem to not understand why I or anyone would filter out based on that flag.
I know that I have passed up some pretty good caches because of it. Thanks for posting this and i hope that it does some good.
Look at al those markers up north. HP2 is going to have his work cut out for him already!
