Is this going to be at the Sun Prairie location?
Sound interesting, since I grew up in the area of the cache. I will have to check my calendar and with the ‘boss.’
Of those going, whom would be the closest one to the Janesville area that I might be able to grab a ride with?
Got my requested placed for this puppy.
Right now mine is in the middle of a Wisconsin corn field, helping with the harvest. When that is done, down south it goes to work on it’s ‘tan’.
I like the one that went south a bit and then right back to Pike Lake. GPS must be broken. 😆
Just wanted to point out that we are not talking about the physical log, while a good few lines there are sometimes great also, but rather the online log entry (or lack of).
Most physical logs are not large enough to handle more than a simple signature/stamp/label.
We have a couple member firemen on stand by, if needed. 😆
Seeing your design, I am sure that RCFlyer will be first in line to swap tags with you!
I hope it leaks and ruins it!
I had a guy get pissed at me when I sent him a message because he posted ‘TFTC’ on my Barn Quilt caches. He did not want to spend a lot of time in front of the computer, away from his family.
While I respect his desire to be with the family, he did not even acknowledge the hours and miles that I rolled up to place those 100 caches. Just write one general log and paste the damn thing in the logs. Any CO with this many caches should not be bothered by that.
OK. Here is a new one.
My cache at the New Glarus Depot is a preform outside and there is a can inside also. Someone took the preform and left the log sheets behind!!
They took a 50 cent container. 😆
You can always access the web from a phone. There was a certain BOD member at the campout that made his phone a hotspot. Maybe that could be arranged, if needed and he is up to it.
…and that only makes sense. A common starting point for all.
What were the plans for the big start?
I may be wrong, but I think that some of the Albany Public Hunting grounds (Green county) may be in the program. Some of it is posted as private, but available for hunting.
So, other than the normal GC.com registration and the TBRun.com registration, we just need to physically bring the trackable to the picnic. Just a visually confirmation that it is real and then off it goes?
Got both of my guys set then! Vrroom, Vroom.
Did some go-cart racing this w/e, just to get back in shape for the race. 🙂
Amazing that we need to supply more contact information for a cache on DNR land than those that get this tax break!
