I’m in! Racing my 2012 West Bend Proxy coin. Vroom! Vroom!

Good use for it. Lighter than the real coin, so better MPG!

We are using a TB Race program for easier tracking. These programs have been tweeked over the years to hopefully stay ahead of the limited amount of “cheaters”.

Don’t worry! We’ll throw a couple of consolation prizes in there, like “First to get muggled”, etc.! Let us know if you would like a head of green cabbage or if purple is better!

Let’s have some fun with this race! 😀

Being that I am German, I would of course prefer red cabbage. Please make sure that it is cook properly! 😀

What I was referring to is not the trackable owner dipping it, but someone that picks it up and dips it before dropping it into a cache. Just something that would be hard to prevent. Many of the TB/Coins that I pick up I dip when I am out on a trip to get miles for the owner. Especially to make sure that the milage follow the path that I took. ie. around the bottom of Lake Michigan vs. straight across it.

    Thanks,
    Wayne

BTW: I think this is a cool idea for the event.

What happens if, along the way, some cacher picks it up and does some “dipping” of the trackable? Will those miles count?

Will this be “educational” or just a bunch of folks telling lies? 😆

    Hummm. . . supplies for one person. . .

Maybe we can organize a group for some night caches. 8)

WTG Steve!! Glad that you finally were able to get up on top, with the help of your dedicated sherpa (uws22). Hope that you took lots of pictures to remember this by.

Just waiting for someone to try to take my TB hotel ammo can from my front yard. In the crotch of a large tree 100+ feet from the road. Only issue I have had with it is that sometimes a turkey will sit up there and knock it on the ground. 😆

If they try to take it, my ‘attack’ cats will be all over them. 😀

You could just create bookmark list to track them. After you are done, then make that into a PQ and submit then sumbit that GPX file.

Yes it does, as you have to provide login info.

in reply to: Rash of cache thefts #1962869

I would say yes to that. I have been playing with c:geo on a friend’s phone. It runs a query of some sort against the web. If you can not see it on the web, then the phones should be the same.
