Cool. Are these targets for your CITO?
I would bring nothing less than the worse.
Should I bring my BB gun so we can have some fresh tree rat burgers?

Also I have 2 pairs of hiking boots. One is leather and the other gortex for the tough ones. Walikng stick is packed and comes with a GC medallion for luck.
The duck would be too much and he is LOUD at night!

TEGot those covered or not needed.
I am all alone, except for all of the GEOCACHERS. 😆
Friday, grabbing food on the way in to work the registration. Sat AM is a “MRE” and lunch is still open, but probably will join in on the potluck (no cooking) Pig Roast and pancake breakfast round out the meals.
This will be just “lite” camping and a test of my 57 YO body.Just wanting to make sure that I have not missed anything major. All good input from you folks.
Sounds like interesting solution to prevents pests. I would not want to spray myself with it though. 😆

Spraying bug spray on nylon tents will damage the water repellancy of the tent.
Noted, but I was thinking of on the ground in front of the door.
The pig man is bring my food. Not sure what to bring for the lunch pot-luck. Sat. breakfast is an “MRE”. 😆
Only 2 meals that I need to bring.
It does have a screen door. It is an Igloo pop-up. I was thinking that I could spray in front of the door with Deep Woods Off.

Camp light/lantern, flashlight.
Toothbrush, jammies, teddy bear.Got a rubber mallet. Tent has lines and stakes (new tent)
Flashlight is a given as I do a lot of night caching. Also good for those pesky pine tree caches. Was thinking about a camp light. Toothbrush AND PASTE already in the bag. Jammies are optional. 🙂 NOT. Do not want to scare anyone.I also have a camp chair. Not concerned with any table issues, as I will not be around there that much. I am on the committee, so I will be up there some time and I am by myself.
I was wondering what is the best method to keep bugs from crawling into the tent. ie. ants and ticks
So true. When I see a DNF, I look at the cacher profile. If it is a hard find (Tanks for Visiting) and they are a newer cacher,(5 finds) then I discount the DNF. I also take into account the area where the cache is. If I do not, then I could drive myself crazy.
I do believe that it is mostly an education issue. There are some caches that it does indeed slip by on the CO. Then it is just a matter of doing a quick check of the cache pages.
Heck, I have 141 active caches! Not watching for stuff like this would be a nightmare if I did not watch them. 🙂
What really bothers me more than most other things is a cache that clearly does not need maint, but the NM was posted months or years before. It is like the CO is not even around. I think that a good CO should take a quick look at the list and address issues like this.
I always counter a NM (Needs Maint) log with a OM (Owner Maint) log. It not only creates the log entry with your comments, but removes the attribute. Those little counters right above the logs also get updated.
You can also go and Edit Attributes, but that seems counter productive to me.
Is this bookmark list still being maintained? I see quite a few caches with red lines throught them. 🙂
