Spent this past w/e with Ken on a six state run, but more about that in a bragging thread. 🙂

We spoke a little about this outing and he is looking forward to chatting and picking some brains for info. I am hoping that we can add a few more to the group before we head out on the 13th.

GC3DX78 Multi State Traveler Challenge Cache

Find at least three DIFFERENT caches in six DIFFERENT U.S. States or Territories (total of 18 caches)
Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Washington D.C. count.
    Your home State counts.
    All cache types count.

I will have to see if my buddy wants to do 3 per state instead of just 2 this w/e.

You guys have to be insane to do 7 states in one day. LOL.

    Good luck and drive safe.

I’m doing 6 states west of the Mississippi on Sunday! Just a warm up run for this guy. 🙂

I did a number of Wheels00 “Seven is Heaven” caches while working in Chicago periodically a year ago. This is a new one, and great to see another one added to the list.

You should join us then, CJ. I think that I current qualify for about 4 of them and this trip would make it 6.

Looking at the requirements thoe you dont need 7 states – there is a combination of different things – it looks like 7 counties does it?

That is true for the Run for the Border Challenge. The IL Road Trip is seven states. It is funny that one of the teams was from the Chicago area, but they went south and grab caches in KY, TN, MS, etc.

Just hook your phone up to your PC as a drive. Drag the GPX to the DOWNLOAD folder. Now properly disconnect the phone from the PC and fire up c:geo. go to Stored and then bring up the menu. There is a Manage item. Select that and a popup menu will appear. Select Import GPX and it will scan the phone looking for files that it can import. Select the one your need and you are done.

I also like what the squirrel has done, except that I had to hunt around a bit to find the link I use to keep an eye on that bad robot. 😉

Keep up the good work “squirrel”! 🙂

I had not checked the cache page when I made my last post, but I now see that it is at The Great Wall of China. 😉 There are some really neat pictures of people caching there, etc. I had to laugh when I read that the FTF went to someone from the UK. 🙂

The little metal man can run, but I have scouts out keeping a watchful eye on the this misbehaving guy. I think he may be related to Ranger Bot. In fact, I see that he is on the move again. Time to contact my ‘people’. 😆

That is a good map to see. I see that all of the areas are up north, which is what I expected to see.
