Best pair of hiking boots I ever had were from Eddie Bauer and called “Appalachian Trail” and oddly they fell apart on the Appalachian trail – so much for a name!
I picked up my last pair at Gander Mountain – Lacrosse Brand and they have held up very well on quite a few mountain trails and were not very expensive (around $100) as hiking boots go.Way to go Troops!
300 is a fantastic number to achieve!Great Job Cashew!
300 is just a stop along the way but what a view!
WZBT01 and WZBT02 were already taken by mountain sherpas. When asked about geocaching, number 01 said I like it, number two said “Me Too” of course my answer was me Three. Hence WZBT03!!
I agree that this one is very well done and should be added to your list of caches to do!
Great Job M&C – you make it look very easy. Lets go start your next 500 soon!
Makes sense to me!
As long as your fessing up……
On Sunday my youngest daughter had her bridal shower in Hubbard Park (Milwaukee) and I had a bit of assistance from the Beast in finding out there was a cache in the park.
Before the shower was over I took half the guests on an quick geocache to Bookworm Cache.
While we were there a lady and what was most likely her daughter were walking around the park taking lots of notes AND she had on a Geocaching shirt – think there is another cache soon to be in Hubbard Park?
I will stop short of telling you what my wife said when I pulled out my GPS.Thanks Brian – I did check to see if it showed up later and it never did but does show as find on my geocaching.com list. The only other time this happened was back just before the system (wga) crashed – hope it is not happening again. Not a big issue – just passing it on.
I agree Steve – seems to slow up quite a bit. Many times, like tonight, I log a cache and it never shows on the WGA logs but shows on my geocaching.com page. Seems to be a glitch out there somewhere but not a fatal one.
Great idea!
I have heard that some of my travel bugs in California have been to a similiar thing and their chances of survival are much better this way.
I sent this article off to all my family members. Nice find and soda straws will be a must on everyones list of caching equipment.
Great job – I am amazed at all the benchmark numbers be found in wisconsin.
Yes – the Legend does do this rather nicely. If you do not have this feature – do not try Blue Mounds “O” where it is essential. It has helped on many other caches also and is a very handy feature.
Great job!
Lots of milestones going on!!
