100 is still a great accomplishment regardless of the time it takes.
Great job!Le Tour is all set now and has been submitted. It includes alternate endings (two of them) just for those hikers who would enjoy the cache but not the bike ride.
I have also placed the final cache on a slope so that Pharmteam has something to slide down when done– not a very big slope though – they might have more fun on the slide nearby. And for those who love my water caches– you will not be disappointed – the final approach has you walking across rocks over a small stream – easy enough for small children and slow witted adults and only 6 inches deep. Sorry but you will not need to do a running jump over this one.Just printed off Ken’s Biking Cache – will add it to my spring list – sounds like a great afternoon outing.
Get yours going Cheesehead Dave – like the field of dreams – make it and they will come.No Steve – Chief O’Brien II is still on my current list of ones to visit – can’t wait now
.And as for Miata, not that one either
. Any other guesses?Obviously my message was meant to be of a fun nature – I have only found one cache I have not enjoyed is some way and that one was in Freeport Illinois. Even the ones I have not found yet and recorded no finds had huge redeeming qualities. It will always be the hunt that rewards us.
I guess your only the second person to make 400 in Wisconsin??
Congratulations!
Way to go jstream!!!
Hope we didn’t drive your gas bill too high.100 caches is a great mark to make and once the fever sets in – you gotta get it.
Congratulations and see you at 200!!!
Congratulations!!
300 ?? can’t even imagine it.
Great article – thanks for loading the link!
Good to hear!
I am going to be flying into Reno in July and am staying over on Lake Tahoe. I will have to check out some of the caches. If you get a chance, please email me with the ones you did.
Really looking forward to checking out some of the ones in the Sierra Nevadas.[This message has been edited by wzbt03 (edited 03-07-2003).]
You can’t blame me for your fast start
. You were already on your way.
While geocaching is not a competitive sport, it does highlight numbers quite a bit. If the landmark numbers are your incentive to go out and visit everyones caches, then they have served a purpose.I enjoy placing caches as much as finding them. Geography will always give us the best caches and those we all remember but they all can serve a purpose.
A couple of weeks from now I am going to place a couple of caches in Jamaica – care to make these your next ones?
Placed two today so that should take the jinx off.

Congratulations Tenner!!
See you at 200
next!!Thanks!!
100 Caches has been my goal since starting and I even consulted with Lil Otter on where would be a good 100th – unfortunately the recommended caches were either archived or not available when I was
. (thanks for the help Lil Otter!). Hoyt Park actually worked out just fine.
I realize that all of the fun I am having would not be possible without all of you guys and your support – thank you all. I hope that the caches I have been able to get placed close to my home will help others in their quest.
Go SS Bing and jstream – you both can beat the 100 caches in 61 days!!
Now its off to Milwaukee tomorrow and begin my 2nd 100.I agree – great that you folks could make it down there. It would be nice to have one like that in Wisconsin.
Thanks for noticing!
Very addictive and very fun.
Thanks to all the pioneers of this great activity. -
